Is it possible it somehow is not working because of my VirusScan that got put on my computer recently?
I don't underestand why but my avatar does not show up on the equip page and if I click on things and save nothing happens. I am thinking it is definetly something on my computer because I tried it on my friend's computer (who does not have virusScan) and it worked just fine.
Do you know if this could be a cause or possibly another application? If so do you know what I could do about it? (It would help if anyone's heard of a security program interfering before)
it's not blocking the page or anything, the avatar never appears and the blue bars go up to the top of the screen. here is a picture of the problem:

VirusScan has nothing to do with the problem. Try clearing your cache. I know other people have this problem, but I don't know if it was resolved.

Yes, that's it exactly. If you disable your McAfee Privacy Service, you should be able to dress up without a problem.

You can re-enable it afterwards, if you're worried.

A ha ha, two completely different things to do... ah but I hope the first of you is right, I have no intention to whine even more to my dad about how defective it is STILL being... I will try both though, thank you.

Actually it does - or at least McAfee Privacy Service is the cause. After I found the answer buried in a thread in the Bug Reports forum, I've helped about 6 people with the same problem. It's really weird, mind...

I turned off my privacy thingy or w/e, and then it worked. I could dress myself. I've had that error since I could remember.
I'm finally saved~!! 4laugh

I check this thread to complain to the author that there is no rescue; I have been cursed with that glitch for ages... but instead I found the light to my nightmares... so I rejoiced in a big font. That is all. xp
