Update 8/10/06: Congratulations to Indigo Dagger for being the 1,000th poster on this thread, and winning a July '06 Thank You Letter!

Update 6/26/06: As we round the 60th page and 900th post, I've decided that there should be some kind of reward for the 1,000th poster. Likewise, although it's not likely to come for a while, I'll do something special on the 100th page. Don't ask me why I'm giving YOU a prize even though I'm the one doing all the work... but I'm pretty sure it directly correlates with the fact that I love you guys.

Anyway, just keep that in mind- 1,000th post (I won't take it, obviously) will be rewarded with a GRAND, SECRET PRIZE.

Ok, I have a character who has two different colored eyes. Does this make her a Mary Sue by default, or can I give her a cliched appearance without making her cliehd?

OMFG I HAV QWESTCHUN PLZ.

Does it make sense for a couple of characters of mine to obtain mostly-useless powers because there was a minor explosion at a nearby laboratory in which scientists were experimenting with a new form of radiation? Or is that just really stupid? And no, they don't become superheroes or anything like that.

EDIT: By the way, this thread is the coolest thing since sliced bread, and anyone who says otherwise will be shot immediately. The end.

Then it wouldn't be ask Jile, it would be "ask all these people who may or may not be certifiably askable."
