Kukioo - By far he has been treating the flower as a specimen. He likes studying far too much for his own good, and is a rather grumpy Blathanna. He has made many sketches of Kochou, has even come to try and name it as a new plant or herb. He doesn't touch Kochou however, perhaps he feels life in it that is different from other flower life. Perhaps he feels some sort of vibration in it and due to that he is starting to become amazed at the small bud.
Lee - He is kind to the little flower. He sometimes tries to carress it's petals, yet is soon forced to withdraw with the scent that Kochou releases. He likes to talk with the small flower very much, and even tries to clean the statue it dwells in. He'll a kind brother, he already senses that somehting in that flower is going to grow.
Airou - Well, there isn't much to say about this small porcupine. Due to a small unfortune with her original shop, she may never grow further then her already settled stage. She has a liking to try and climb up the bed stand where Kochou has been set, yet with her small paws she is uncapable of going much to far in her progress. Her greatest feeling towards the small bud is curiosity rather than anything else. Perhaps she doesn't feel much in the small bud, but once that flower blooms I hope she'll learn otherwise.
Rock Lee - This is the chocobo that I received not too long ago. He has a dislike for the indoors, so he constantly opens my bedroom window to inspect Kochou. Sometimes he nudges the flower as if trying to awaken her, that is before he is repelled with her strong scent. Rock, as he'd rather me call him, doesn't seem to care about the smell however. Each time he is repelled, the immense bird simply waits for the scent to pass so he may once more poke his head through the window. He has a caring nature, a little clumsy however. I'm sure Kochou will come to the liking of perhaps causing mischeif towards Rock, his reactions tend to be most worth it.
Luffy - Now you haven't seen anything as pevish, childish, tricky, and yet somehow cute as is this Azantai. Receiving the cunning of a fox at birth and the prankster like attitude with time, this little creature has quite the peculiar body aswell. Having foolishly eaten (more like swallowed in one bite) an ancient devil fruit that grew from the branches of the nearly extinct Gum Gum tree, Luffy's body has been changed to fit the characteristics of rubber, with the cost of the loss of his swimming ability. Now, considering the pet is a partial dog, it is quite a pathetic unfortune. But, with a body of such amazing elasticity and resistance (along with his heck of a strong personality) Luffy has been quite a nice addition to the somewhat large family.
Monkey D. Luffy - Inspired in the same character as Luffy was, Monkey (as we like to call him) holds a bigger escence of childhood then his elder brother. You see, having met companions at a young age that didn't mind his oblivious and logical mind (so logical that it reached a point of stupidity) this small pony like pet only misses having his smile while he's eating. As rabid as his elder brother Luffy, he too is affected by the powers of the Gum Gum Fruit. But you have yet come to see someone that is as positive as he is regarding his strange physique.
Varekai - This feline is perhaps one of the most shy creatures I've come to see. He's respectful, yet isn't quite the best with words or socializing at that. However, it is always a pleasure to have him curl up on the bed, napping beside small Airou and watching Kochou. His eyes are dreamy, not that of a lover but of a philosopher. I may not say he is a poet, for a poet is nothing without love. However, if this feline looks hard enough, it is possible that his broken hearts can be mended.
Zisran - This must be one of Kochou's greatest troubles back home. As he is a squirrel, and a curious one at that, Zisran tends to confuse Kochou for an acorn or nut of sorts. It is necesary that I keep an I on this little one as I'd not like Kochou to be harmed. Yet, his small shape holds such a great heart. Whatever he finds or whatever he gains, his first action is to share it with others. He likes to presence a smile on all surrounding faces, likes to see that he is appreciated. A young fellow in search for friends, nothing else.
Shingi - Perhaps one of the few in the house that take Kochou much seriously. Having come from a vivid land with many arts originating from the dance, this feline like pet has strangely taken to a rather secretive and fleeting personality. Thus it'd explain how she can relate to Kochou, a quite being that exposes it's beauty so finely. Shingi also shows herself much independent, it is rare of her to request any help at all. However, she is much loved in the entire household, and in a few moments she may find a willing to talk to one of us for hours to come.
Pumpkin - This, for as much as she has a close similarity to Kochou, seems to be the other trouble of the house. Pumpkin, or Kin as we all like to call her, has a taking for mischeviousness. She likes to do her pranks, her small tricks, probably something the small plant retreived from her holiday origin. Thought she gives us much to worry about, Kin is much appreciated in the house. As, you may see, she has something much like a Siren's song. It soothes the ambiance of the house, and it also causes all the males of my home to settle down and become peaceful. That is when my home is most calm, and the minutes that follow her musics are always the most unperturbed of our daily routines. Kin has many other qualities, she is one of the few that actually like to hear me speak of stories or philosophical ideas. If only there was a way to bring her to my house permamently so she'd be more accustomed to her family, but I am guessing it is best she know about them later.
Belzebu - Now this shows himself to be Don Juan revived. This demonic pegasus cannot refrain from flirting whatever other female comes into his eye sight. He beleives Kochou would make a fine lady once she is of age, but I am still bound to know how it is Belzebu can know such things. Luffy has the tendency of joking around with this pet, which normally ends up in a small confrontation between the yearling and the azantai. However, both are unbeatable when it comes to entertaining. Be it friendly, or even midst a fight, the nature of Belzebu is always that of hilarious origin, perhaps that is what makes him charming.
Nhyoo - It is about time we met our odd ball of the house. Nhyoo, as we have come to name her, can never make a coherent statement. She contradicts herself, yet smiles at whatever the situation may come to be. She adores to sleep as much as she adores to lift me and rush around. I'm not in any doubt when I say that Nhyoo has long fallen in love with the wind, the spirits of this earth, and especially to my incense. Though that cross has been settled on her fore head at birth, this chocobo is an indian at heart. Like myself, she beleives that there is no certain god, only the spirits that take care of the world and of us. I remember reading a small thing she had managed to write (don't ask me how) one day. "Born from the earth, grown by the wind, in qualm with the water, and in dance with the fire; this is the cycle of whatever has come to be and whatever is." I must say that I was shocked by this. As shocked as I was when she offered Kochou tea, an experience I'd rather not narrate.
