Welcome to Zurgi's (and Seddy's, by proxy) uber cool hangout thread! This is just basically a thread for my friends and I to hang out in, chat, spam, whatever we want to do. It's way too much fun not to have a thread for it! Oh, and for those who don't know who Seddy is...Seddy is the grunny attached to my head ;D

So why have I done this? Because this thread was initially made for my birthday party, and then I wanted to keep it so that my friends could still come here. Now, I couldn't really make my party last forever, so the thread has been changed! More details in the thread History section =)

That's not to say that people I don't know aren't welcome here, you most definitely are. Everyone is welcome to come in and chat, as long as they abide by the thread rules, which are listed two posts down from here.

Be sure to read them, they're rather simple, so I can't see there being much of a problem ^^

This is just a brief description of my time on Gaia. Because it's fun =) And how I met different groups of friends.

I joined Gaia on June 29th of 2004, due to a friend bugging me to join. Pestering me, because at the time the referral system was still in place and she wanted the gold.

Needless to say, I joined, and then surfed around a bit. Found what then became my home for a while, the LOTR subforum. Hung out in some guilds, chatted in the subforum, and then later that year became an art whore and hung out in R&C a bit, and then in Art Freebies when it was created.

Since then, most of my art has been free, gifts from friends or random artists, or from me going into free art threads and requesting some. And I love every last piece.

Spent a lot of time in the Art Freebies forum for a while, gathering tons of free art. At that point, most of my friends were either from art threads, guilds, or the Lord of the Rings subforum. Mainly the subforum.

Then, one day, I recieved a PM from one of the LOTR subforum mods asking me to be a helper. Middle of July, 2005. Too lazy to find the exact date. That brought me into the helpering community, making friends with some of the helpers and moderators, whom are all really great people.

Since being modded in October, I've met even more great people. My friendlist has been expanding, and I've always wanted all my friends to be able to hang out and meet each other, since they come from all different places around the site, different hangouts, so to speak.

So, in this thread, they can do that <33 I want all my friends to come here and hang out, meet more people, and generally have fun. And also for new people to come and hangout as well, maybe I can meet some more nice gaians that I can deem friends ^^

There is the purpose of this thread, along with a brief description of my bouncing around the site. Phwee.

This is the very short thread history post. Mainly made so that I could use up another post out of the original ones that I had taken for the party thread! Hurr~

Basically, when this thread was created, it was made for my sixteenth birthday party to be a party thread in which my friends and I could all hang out in and I could document the presents that I had gotten and whatnot. Well, with my birthday having been over for four days, on January 14th, I still couldn't give up the thread.

Hence, this thread was changed into a generic hangout thread, for everyone to come and chill and spend some time chatting. Though it can be quiet at times, we have had some great conversations in here =)
