26.1.06 - No, it hasn't been almost a month since my last update. But yes I've been procrastinating. Two group rp's kind of, in the journal. One when Helen was a fox, one when Helen is a toddler and another one in the works at Aletea's Ashkii. ^^ er... journal.
2.1.06 - What's the difference between updates and milestones? No idea. ^^ Setting up the journal. I WON!! XD Now the crabby fox is never going to see the last of me!

Appearance Quite a pretty, if skinny toddler, her hair is still messy, as if somehow the discarded fur had influenced the mop on her head to be sightly stiffer than normal. With keen green eyes and a passion for pretty, bright colored clothing, she's usually found in very oriental pieces. Small and rather slender, her favorite colors are greens and browns-- she's a sucker for autumn, and is usually seen carrying some oddity or another.
Personality Controlling, she's too young to fully understand everything in life, and yet the way she chooses in interprete ideas and the like can be rather confusing. Possessive and territorial over what she considers to be hers, while she is quite a 'nice' little girl, she only does it because she doesn't want bad karma to catch up on her. Slightly blunt, more quiet than loud and friendly enough, don't take anything that belongs to her. She bites.
Likes People, as long as they like her back. She prefers loud, noisy places if she's left alone. People and busy areas confuse her, and she needs some peace and quiet or someone who is willing to put up with her confusion. She likes gifts, textures, and food. Ice cream is her favorite, but she likes eating a little bit of everything instead of getting jsut one thing. Presents. She LOVES presents.
Dislikes People who steal her things. Dirty people, unless she's allowed to clean them back up. People who steal her food. People who steal her toys. Do you sense a pattern?

This is the father. A right crabby, bitter fox who keeps making fun of me! Honest, just you wait, I'll get back at you... somehow!! Is it really my fault that I thought he was so pretty I went ooh? How was I supposed to know it was male? IT. Yes IT. Stop looking at me! Argh!
Helen, the rather pretty girl! Don't spill anything on her though, or she's going to eat your food. And steal your precious. Seems to take after her guardian and her mother really, more than mr. crabby. Or maybe I'm just a little bit prejudiced...

17.1.06 Helen has grown into a toddler. Very pretty, gets along with her sister famously. Although sometimes I do get suspicious...
4.1.06 Bought Helen home. It's a human enough name for a *cough* human baby. I think it's a pretty name, and I'm sure we'll have enough exotic nicknames that she's glad to have something simple.
3.1.06 The fox chose me to be it's foster parent. I mean, over their daughter. I don't think it's safe to keep us together in the same room, but whatever he wants, I want. Or something like that. Wish he'd be more confident about it though.

Appearance Average height, curvaceous with pale skin. Mid back ringlet curled black hair with a side parting and a enough curls to call it a fringe. Usually wears shiny makeup. Usually dressed in bright, exotic colors and patterns. Hard to miss in a crowd.
Personality Very defensive, possessive and sensual. Silly and very immature, she gets along very well with a sister who's six years younger than her and is often seen as the 'kid' of the family.
However, she is very brave (stupidly so) and responsibly enough to raise a child. Else why would she be here?
Talents Making balloon animals.
Likes Sweets. Chocolates. Flattery. Bribes.
Dislikes Herbs. Country sides.

From left to right, top to bottom.
Bedroom A spare room with a small bathroom (toilet and tub), the screens are hand painted with cherry blossoms in bud. Very bright and cheerful, it's been reserved for children.
Guest Bedroom In the middle, the walls are empty, the screens full of the edges of the patterns from the two connected bedrooms. It has a little shrine in it.
Bedroom Bekira's room, the screens are thick with cherryblossoms in bloom and usually wide open. the most luxurious with tiny items and crystals hanging from the ceiling, the bathroom is larger, with a tub big enough for two people.
Dining Room/Kichen The only modern bit is the kitchen, the dining room a small table near the ground with a hole so that you can sit as if in a chair. With white/cream screens and the occasional sparrow.
Hall Empty. A place for shoes, umbrellas and the like.
Living Room With little bookshelves and an instrument to the side, the odd thing is the huge plasma tv. Just where does the electricity come from?

With screens that face the verandah's being painted with sheer patterns of cherry blossom in bud, whenever light falls into the room, there's an almost golden cast.
All four 'walls' are screens that can be moved around to give the most light. With the left side facing west, Helen gets the most fantastic sunset views. If she bothers looking out the doors. Usually it's too hot for her to open anything.
Inside the room there is a littly vanity table and a small chest full of toys for a child. When they sleep, Bekira pulls out a white and green spread, pillows, futons, and everything else from the closet.
