Welcome to Ghosts of the Past's first flatsale. This, and the auction that will be following it (With guest artist WoefulInfinity), will be the last chance to get a child for some time. For this flatsale, there will be three wands available.

First of all, what is Ghosts of the Past? Ghosts of the Past is a new breedable/changing "pet" shop. Even if they aren't pets. They're highly Role played magical children that go through 11 stages of life.

And yes, I have a payment plan XD

But what ARE Ghosts of the Past? Ghosts of the past are people, normally of magical quality, who have died a horrible, painful, or wrongful death. Because of this, and the spell Matilda had cast so long ago, their soul was trapped in a wand, which related to them and their powers. As a result, they were trapped halfway between life and halfway between death until their wand was unearthed and brought to life.

They can be of almost any species, though they will appear human-like in quality. For the most part. They will have powers and they will appear with traits of their former selves, but if they were a unicorn, they will NEVER fully be a unicorn. They may be able to SHAPE SHIFT into one...but they will never -be- a unicorn.

Who's The Artist Doing The Stages?

I'm doing the Wand, Wisp and Baby Ghost Stages.

Nozomi, Cerena and VechnayaNicolai are doing the stages, one artist for each baby.

How Much Do They Cost?

Flatsale babies will cost 30k each. Why? Because each of them are pretty much completely custom drawn for the character. Each of them are a lot of work as well. If someone has to shell out 30k for it, you can be damn sure they're going to take care of it best they can.

HOWEVER - IF You're a dedicated lurker/friend or someone I believe I can trust - There WILL be a payment plan available. You must, however, have at least 15k by the 19th to pay for the first half.

Writing Rules
Keep in character and please try not to change tenses...it gets annoying
Your response must be written in a story format.
You MUST write your own entry. Having someone proofread and point out mistakes is fine, but DO NOT have someone else writing for you. IF you do, you will be blacklisted.
Please include ALL required information.

If you do not follow these rules, you will be disqualified from the contest.

Kyrianna's Writing Tips:

I won't critique your contest entry to let you know what it needs and what I want from it, but I -can- give you hints on what I'm looking for.

Do not change tenses in your writing. Going from Present to Past and visa versa just annoys me.
Go into as much detail as you feel you need to. Don't let the minimum requirements bog you down. Just don't write a novel on it, please?
Try to be as true to Ianna's character description as possible, if you do in fact, use her in your prompt.
Make your wand's character concept UNIQUE.

Who Is Ianna

Ianna is the one who found Matilda's wand and brought her back into this world. Even though Matilda is older than her, Ianna seems to baby her and act like a mother would. Mostly because...well she was her mother. For all of a month or two. She's slightly frazzled though, because of the fact Matilda uses her to retrieve wands that she's felt 'awaken'. Sometimes these trips take her to strange places. Like...Well, take moon for example. She had to travel to the Moon using a spell to unearth her. Needless to say, Ianna's rather grouchy and stressed most of the time and has a odd sense of humor. Often seen talking to herself, or what seems to be herself, Ianna is really speaking to Matilda. Unfortunately, she's the only one who can hear the little voice, so it makes her look even more a nutcase.

NOTE: IANNA IS NOT OLDDDDDD She's 23 u.u

To be eligible for winning, you need to do two things: Fill out a concept form and respond to one of three prompts.

Because there has been some confusion, Let me point out that all ANIMAL wands (Wyvern, Pegasus, ETC), were the full animal form in their previous lives. HOWEVER. They had human intelligence and could actually speak.

And your character must also be magically inclined some way, and have died a horrible death. Also, brownie points if you include a guardian character concept as well.

The Prompts

There will be three prompts to choose from. You must respond to the prompt using the wand you are trying out for. I.E. If the prompt asks for you to sooth a child's nightmare, and you want the pegasus...You must answer the prompt as if your child is a pegasus. Sound good enough?

The prompts are written to fit the guardian's point of view. However, if you wish to write from the child's point of view. In fact, I would love to see them written from BOTH point of views!

Prompt One:
It's 3am when you hear a scream coming from your child's room. When you get there, you find your little kid curled up in a ball in the corner of the bed, obviously distraught. When you can finally get them to speak, you realize they had a flash-back to their previous life. What do you do?

Prompt Two:
As a teenager, your child finds themselves in love with someone you literally cannot stand. They come to talk to you about it and seem to be sincere with how they feel. What is said, and how do you respond? What do you do? What do THEY do?

Prompt Three:
Your teenager comes to you and tells you they have something "very important" to discuss with you. When you finally settle down in the living room, they plainly state - they (or the other person, if your child's a male), are pregnant and that it was a result of a drunken one night stand. What is your reaction? What do you do?
