May 18, 2007: Finals are over and I'm on summer vacation now, that means more time for art. Yay? I, ah...seem to have misplaced some of the commissions I still owe people. I think there's 3 floating around somewhere...

Anyway, I'll probably be getting around to putting up some new art samples since I've gotten the hang of colouring art on the computer now. In the meantime, I think I'll open up a few more art slots.

Feb. 27, 2007: Reading week is over and I managed to get some art done. I'm still a bit backlogged though. My remaining art requests are nearly done, but chances are, they won't be finished until sometime after midterms (ie. next week).

Jan. 17, 2007: I'm going to be very busy for the remainder of January with classes starting back up, so I'm going to be trying to get used to the university workload again. To make matters worse, I have assignments due every week and then 3 really huge research papers due in about a month. That means I'll most likely be disappearing again. Sorry about that.

Dec. 29, 2006: Got my memory stick, so I'll be able to get back on track with art. Whoo. Oh, and did I mention that I can CG now? There's no set price on CG art, so feel free to pay me however much you think is fair. I'll also be revamping my shop again.

Nov. 24, 2006: Sorry about the lack of art and updates. I still don't have internet on the computer in my room, and all the people I've asked haven't been able to fix it. So, even though most of my requests are finished, I can't upload any of them onto my photobucket.

Since I have a nice long break between the end of next week and finals, I'll try to scan the art onto the old computer (ugh, I just know that's going to cause me a whole bunch of grief...).

Oct. 8, 2006: Ugh, mid-terms. I've had to put aside commissions temporarily to make room for study-time. No worries, though; all of the commissions currently listed are done (I just haven't had the time to upload and send them yet). In short, I'm accepting commissions again.

On another note, my first Gaiaversary is on the 29th. It's hard to believe that I've been around for a year already...

Oh, and I WANT TO SEE SOME HALLOWEEN AVATARS!!! Sorry. I just feel an urge to draw Halloween-themed stuff.

Sept. 29, 2006: Sorry about the lack of art, guys, but my scanner (well, the old one, anyway, has been on the fritz. I could try using the new one I got with my computer, but I don't have a spare outlet to plug it into; I'll be going out this weekend to buy one of those bars with multiple outlets in them (and maybe I'll get a few PC games while I'm there XD ).

By the way, since it'll be October soon, I'll be planning on offering art specials for Halloween. Keep an eye out for more on that in October.


Sept. 22, 2006: I finally got around to making myself some banners, and I managed to get 3 drawings inked. None of my current requests are finished yet, though. Sorry about that, guys. However, I now have a new computer and scanner, so I'll be testing out the new scanner on whatever artwork I get finished.

09/15/06: Sorry about the lack of updates, folks; I've been really busy lately. I haven't had much time to work on commissions because of school, I'm buying a new computer within a week or so, and I've been working on some other artwork that I've been severely neglecting.

Oh, and you can disregard my previous announcement. I won't be reducing my number of art slots since doing so would cause a lot of people to miss out.

Also, I'll be adding a new type of chibi that will be available to order as soon as my waitlist clears up a bit. If you want an idea of what they look like, just take a quick glance at my sig.

Sept. 05, 2006: A little update for all my current and future customers. I'll be starting university on the 11th, meaning art progress will be much slower depending on how heavy my workload is. So after my next batch of commishes are done, I'll be reducing the number of requests to 3.

Aug. 11, 2006: Added thumbnails. You can actually see my art now in case you're too lazy to click the links XD. I'm not taking any new orders right now in order to catch up on some other art projects I have (I'm almost done). Expect me to be back soon.

Aug. 10, 2006: Updated some links and added a new example for group shots. I'm also considering upping the price of backgrounds considering how time consuming it is XD. I haven't decided yet, though.

Okay, this what you're really after. I will do four types of art: avatar art, original character art, couple art, and group. Colour pics will be done with coloured pencils.

EDIT: I can do CG art now for all art categories.


Avatar art is pretty self-explanitory; it's art of your avatar. Basically, all you do is provide me a pic of the avatar you want me to draw and then I draw it for you. Keep in mind that I may take certain liberties when I draw your avatar (such as changing the hairstyle slightly, adding/removing stuff, etc.); I tend to give each avatar my own personal touch to make it unique.

Chibi Avatar (Type 1)

All chibis will look something like this; big head, small body, huge eyes, and very cute looking. The one I have here is a chibi with a background. All chibis will be full body shots.

These chibis are really small - they're only two-and-a-half heads high - but they're uber-cute. And did I mention that they're cheap? All chibis of this type will be inked and fully coloured.

These are all full-body art. Original character art will look similar to this as well. The pose can vary; I can make it dynamic or I can have the person simply standing there, but it's totally up to you.

Original characters are characters that you create, whether it be from a story or a roleplay. Give me a description and I'll see what I can do for ya. (NOTE: all avatar art samples can be applied to OCs as well)

Since I work off of a description, it would be helpful to me if you would provide references or examples for me to get more of an idea of what you want. For example, if you were to say that your OC had spiky blond hair, I could draw the hair style in one of several ways. But if you were to say that they had hair like Cloud Strife, then I'd have a better idea of what you're looking for.

NOTE: Reference pictures aren't necessary, but they would be EXTREMELY helpful.

I'll be perfectly honest with you: I'm not very good at drawing backgrounds. If you look at the backgrounds in some of my examples, that's pretty much all I'm capable of doing. It'll cost you extra for a background, but I'll let you decide on that.

UPDATE: I am now capable of drawing more elaborate and detailed backgrounds after much practicing. I can draw a cave with a waterfall, a forest grove, a beach scene, a starry backdrop; you name it, and I'll attempt it. I don't have a set price on these yet (nor do I have examples, but I will soon) so I'll let you, the customer, decide.

Couple art: 1200 gold

Couple art will usually be waist-up shots, but if you want something different (like chibis or full-body shots), tell me and I'll be more than happy to oblige.

Group shots are drawings that have more than 2 people. A word of warning, though: the more people you request in the shot, the more difficult it will be for me to fit them all. It might also keep the picture from being sig-friendly.



Group shots: 1300 (for 3 people), +100 gold for each additional person.
