GABE'S CONCEPT
Name: Gabe [Or more specifically G-A-B-E]
Gender: Male
Appearance: Gabe..well..he's a Faun. Which is basically a half goat half man, complete with little horns. He has vibrant auburn hair and calming light brown eyes. Gabe, generally has a sweet and boyish look on his face, with iron-willed eyes and an occasional suspeciouse grin; but as he ages, and his plot thickens, his eyes will grow colder and expression may seem almost apathetic more often than not. He carries his father's flute, Syrinx around on his person at all times. Gabe doesen't
like to fight, but if he does fight however, it's usually hand to ha...well sometimes hoof, depending on if you get on his bad side.
Personality: More specifically, Gabe is the son of Pan the Greek God. So, he's aquired a bit of his father's...rowdy side. His father's tendancy to hit on women however, is hardly to be seen with his quiet and secritive nature. However, this doesn't stop him from the odd blush now and then. On the whole, however, Gabe is a very reserved soul and
unlike his father, Gabe usually prefers the quiet life as opposed to the loud city. He has a very good heart and his eyes reflect his true will and focused nature. Gabe is very protective of those he holds dear and him being the way he is, expresses his emotions and feelings through actions, music and the pen.
Question: Who are the ones left behind?
Answer: Those who fight further
Concept: As mytholigy states, Pan has been the only God to have ever died. However, due to Pan's...nature...it was only likely for him to have burdend a nymph with a child. Gabe has many heroic traits to him, and he's very moraly strong, being the son of a God, however, he was left behind by his father for one sad truth that Pan just couldn't live with:
His son was mute. Some rumors from nymph's even state that Pan's death was on Gabe's account as everybody knows that it was not best to aproach Pan in silence. Gabe has no knowledge of his background however, which was probably to his benifit. As Gabe is at his young age, has yet to learn to write properly, he usues his flute to communicate. He spells his name by playing the notes on his flute G-A-B-E.
Author's notes: As for powers, he hasn't descovered them yet, but I belive he has the ability to cause the 'Panic' which is exactly what it's been used for in todays modern language. It can range from anything as small as causing irrational fear to causing a spontaniouse war or peace. It's usually a sign of Gabe's true emmotions. This would be a problem for me as if his power is not tamed, he may well become a very selfish boy like his father. As panic is a natural thing, it also brings out and reveals a person's true nature, which may cause even more pain to the target of said panic. Especially if that target is normaly very civilized. If the panic is used in a positive sense however, it may make a party even more lively than it already is or cause indulgances to be even more satisfying.
Reletivity to the question and answer: Gabe is fighting an internal battle. He will eventually learn of his past and have to fight his father's ghosts and ideals in order to be himself. Pan represented the dark side of nature and wild instinctiveness including sex. Gabe has narry the intrest in it, but his roots say different. The one who was left behind, will have to fight who it was that left him and his dark side in order to discover and become the light side of nature.
((There's some mythological fact and some fiction in there too...I'm quite proud ^_^...There's apparantly something about a godess called Rhea controlling Pan's 'Panic' too...I'll explore that later though.))
