Welcome to the new Bamboo Babies Pet Shop. The place to find a perfect pet companion.

Bamboo Babies are orphaned baby animals that need your love and care for them to be able to grow and live a long and happy life.

They were found deep in the bamboo thickets here in Gaia [Thus the shops name]. So many were found that I decided to open this shop where you can adopt one of your own. If I could I'd take care of them all, but that's where you come in.

Also, make sure to visit the original

Before you order anything there are a few rules that need to be followed.

Please read everything
Probably the most important rule. By reading many of your questions might be answered. But if you read everything and you still have a question then by all means fire away, IN THE TREAD.

No PM's
Sorry but Private Messages will be ignored and deleted. Any questions? then ask in the thread.

Orders will be taken in the shop
Please do not PM me for anything shop related. If you want anything extra please post it here in the thread.

Use the order forms provided
I made the order form a certain way and color so I won't miss them when scrolling down the pages. People who don't use the form will be ignored.

Pay First
All trades will go to Madies+Addie, I will not accept shop related trades. I do not begin working on pets until I receive the trade with the right amount. After I accept the trade I will send you your pet.

Begin trade with complete amount of gold
Post your order form only when you have the amount necessary for the pet at hand. Do not start the trade with Madies+Addie with less than the pets price because I will cancel it.

Remember to direct link it
Remember to use the specific URL I send you to display your pet. If you do not use the URL you were sent the pet will not grow.

How to save
Right click the pet and hit save picture as... DO NOT PM ME asking me how to save your pet. Check second rule.

I will not host images once your pet is grown
Be sure to save your grown pet in your own server once you receive it. If not, in time your pet will be nothing more than a red -> User Image

Do not edit anything
No changing, editing or removing anything from the images. That includes my signature User Image

Do not steal any of the images in this store
Every single one of the images here were made by me. Stealing any of these will not only get you in trouble with me and blacklisted, it will also get you reported to a moderator and probably banned from Gaia.

I reserve the right to refuse service to you.

Bamboo Babies need your love and care for them to be able to grow and live a long and healthy life. Bamboo Babies have three stages, Preemie, Young-ling and Matured. Once completely grown your pet will be able to mate. Keep in mind that the bigger the family the harder it will be for him to find a mate or mate successfully next time. After parenting a number of offspring your pet will no longer be able to mate again. The number of times he can mate as a fully grown pet depend on how he was taken care of as a Preemie and Young-ling.

The first stage of your pet. This tender age is crucial, for this is when he is most vulnerable. A well cared for preemie will be able to bare multiple offspring.

The second stage of your pet. This is when your pet will be able to ask for certain things. A well cared for preemie will be able to bare multiple offspring.

Adult

The third and last stage of your pet. A full grown pet is now able to mate. If the pet was well cared for throughout the pets preemie and young-ling days he will be able to bare multiple offspring. Remember to save him into your own server, thank you.

Your pets surroundings determine how happy he will be. A happier pet lives longer and can bare multiple offspring.

Be sure to keep an eye out for your pets needs. If he is kept unattended that will lead to an unhappy pet.

This is the sign that will let you know when your pet is hungry. You can purchase something to eat for him at the Mini Store. Remember, a well cared for pet will be able to bare multiple offspring in the future.

To fulfill your pets needs you will have to get him certain things, like toys for entertainment, things to make his habitat more enjoyable or food to keep him nice and full. You are allowed up to six items, so choose carefully. Comments and suggestion for new items are always welcome.

Small Bonsai Tree- Habitat Enhancer 50g
A lovely little tree that will make your pets surroundings much more enjoyable.

This months Flatsale and Auction pets will be placed here. There will usually be two pets, a male and a female for each category.

Users are only permitted to purchase one pet. You can participate in the Auction and Flatsale. You can even participate in the flatsale for both the male and female. But if you participate in the flat sale and auction and win both you can only have one, and even if the chances of you winning the female and male pet in the flatsale is slim I might as well still mention that you can't have both. As long as you own a pet that is still growing you cannot get a new pet.

Flatsales last about a week, so many have a chance to participate.
Keep an eye on the thread, because as soon as you see that the flatsale is open is when you should post the flatsale form, and with the form you post the action of generating a random number from 1 to 100.
The highest number at the end of the flatsale wins the pet. The winners will be posted here.
Winner should begin their trade as soon as they can. The pets are 3.000g each. If there is nothing missing the trade will be accepted.
At the end of the flatsale the pets will be sent to the owners post bellow and removed from here.
After all pets have been adopted the flatsale will be closed. If you didn't get a chance to get a pet, you can try the Auction bellow, or check back next month.

When your pet is all grown and ready he or she will let you know that he or she would like a mate. The shop will ask for 1.500g to help you find a mate for your pet. Your pet will only be able to mate from three to five times, depending on how well you took care of him when he was growing. After that I suggest getting a new one, or keeping your last offspring so he can mate once he's grown.

Once your pet is grown and saved into your own server you can place them in the breeding section to look for a suitable mate. Once the baby is born the owners will be sent a PM congratulating them for their new baby.

The owners of the parents must decide if to keep the baby or give him up for adoption. If the pet is kept by them they must decide who gets to keep him, and his/her name. They can add multiple items from the Pet Shop, and of course will be charged.

If the pet is given up for adoption parents will split 50% of the adoption gold once he or she is adopted by another.
Example:

If the Pet is worth 3.000g
The shop receives 1.500g
And each parent owner receives 750g each

-Once your pet is fully grown you will need to save him into your own server, then he will be able to breed from three to five times only, depending on how well you took care of him when he was growing.

Role playing isn't really necessary. But if you want you can Role play in the guild to find a mate. Bellow will be places where you can look for a mate and pets that are currently looking for mates.

If you have any questions regarding the shop, just post it here in the thread. I will answer your question, plus add it here with a more detailed answer bellow.

Why are they so expensive?
1. I made it all pixel by pixel all by myself. Everything took hours to make.
2. They grow, breed and are even animated.
3. I'm not just selling my art, I'm dedicating time to this. I have to keep track of many things, and the pets are hosted by me until they can't breed anymore, and that takes months.
Why should I join the guild?
The Bamboo Babies Guild is not only a place you can role play with your pet, it is place where you can meet and interact with other pet owners, have a higher probability of finding a suitable mate, participate in events and contests and gain special items for your pets only guild members have access too!
How many times can my pet breed?
From three to five times, depending on how well you tended to your pets needs when he was growing.
How do I generate a random number for the flatsale?
When your going to post wait till the page completely loads. Once it's done look right above the text box, where you write your message. Right where it says Post Action: there's a scroll down menu. Pick Random Number. You'll see Generate a random number from: ____ (lowest) to: ___ (highest), write 1 for lowest and 100 for highest. Remember to post the flatsale form with that. Then your all set. ^_^
Do you accept items for the auction?
Not anymore. The only thing i want I'm questing for and I doubt anyone would use it for the auction. It's a Devil Tail if anyone is curious.

Unbelievable but true. They're still good people in this world, here are a few I've encountered.

zimt: A just plain nice person. She's been with me since the first shop opened. Has awesome ideas which help the shop and loves to give gifts to others.

Anarnee: A extremely nice person who always roots for you. Also gives ideas, helping around the shop.
