Astera settles down on a couch in the main foyer, waiting for everyone else to get back from school. She hadn't attended today because of 'a headache', but all those who attended Statsky knew better. Everyone was, by now, more than aware of her apathy for things deemed a 'waste of time'.
She thumbed through a book, probably a pointless fantasy novel of some sort, mentally counting down the seconds until the door opened.
She stretches after a few moments, folding down the top corner of the page she was currently reading and closing the book. She dropped it to the floor, smirking at the echoing 'thunk' of the leather backing meeting the marble tile. The noise reverberated off of the sparesly decorated walls, hung about the high celing for a moment and then faded out.
How dull.
In her boredom she began to conjure the form of a butterfly, first forming the fat pumpkin-colored body, spining out delicate wings of sky blue and daffodil yellow, streaks of neon green and gold spattered the wings randomly. Odd little butterfly.
Gently she brought it to her face and exhaled onto it's currently lifeless form. One twitch...two...and then it began to take flight.
