1) Entries must be your original work. It may seem silly that I need to state this, but you'd be surprised sweatdrop Please note that this also means no eyeballing/tracing other work. I realize no pose is original, but if I find that your artwork has been clearly copied from something else, the entry will be disqualified and the case handed to an impartial moderator of the art forums for review, since that sort of thing is not permitted here on Gaia.

2) Collaborative works are allowed, but it's up to you to determine ahead of time who wins the prize. I will not mediate arguments about this.

3) No drama. Please. I've got enough of that as it is. No making me feel guilty about not having big prizes, or not selecting you as a winner. No insulting the entrants, not everyone's on the same skill level. If you make an a** of yourself or make anyone feel unwelcome, the posts will be dealt with.

4) You can enter once for each month, but can only win a maximum of two prizes.

5) Please post all submissions here. If it's been a few days and I have not acknowledged your entry, PM me. But wait a bit first. I'm a busy and distracted person, and I may not have time to sit here and watch the thread like a hawk.

6) If you've drawn me before, you're welcome to enter, but only with new artwork. No submitting stuff I've already got. If you were working on something before I started this contest, feel free to adapt it and submit it smile

7) All drawings must be suitable for display on Gaia. PG-13, no excessive gore (which I don't even like anyways), etc. Some cheesecake/sexy poses are fine, and I would like stuff like that, but nothing too racy.



I admit I am a sucker for CG artwork, but I also have some amazing real media and uncoloured peices that I love. There are no limitations as to what I will accept for this contest.

Chibis, headshots, fullbodies, etc, are all acceptable. I do not want dolls or pixel artwork for this though, I'm sorry. I find it too hard to track down whether or not basemakers are getting proper credit in certain cases.

I enjoy all styles of artwork. Anime, realism, experimental/crazy styles, American cartoon style, etc. Lately I've been interested in very over-stylized and dramatic stuff, something with an edge and personality.

I will be judging the entries myself, possibly with some input from friends (particularly for the group pics).

Here are some season-appropriate avatars you can choose from, or if you want to make something up, that works too. I will likely be adding to these outfits as time goes on. You don't need to use them for the seasons they're listed in either, they're just good starting points.

The only things I really insist remain about Moony are that her hair is the Wildflower brown, her eyes are the round grey style, and she always has on either Portable Stereo Headphones, Elf Ears or Doll Ears. Never the regular round ears.

If you'd rather come up with original outfits, that would be very cool too. I love kimonos, sari, bondage gear (lots of straps, studs, vinyl, etc), gothic lolita clothes.. I'm not fond of really preppy or girly stuff, nothing too FRUiTSy or colourful (except the kimonos and sari). If you've got an idea and you're not sure if I'd like it, it never hurts to ask.

Anathema Device:
I luff Ana. She's a great great friend and a huge asset to Gaia. She's always there for me when I need her, and she's very fun to boot. I've been a buttface and haven't spoken to her as much lately, but she's still my Ana.








Dri:
Dri's been someone I've looked up to for a very long time, back when I was just a lowly Q&Fer and she was first modded. We've gotten a lot closer since then, and I'm really greatful for that.

My sweetie, my darling. El's the online manifestation of my RL boyfriend Nathan. He puts up with all my neuroses, idiosyncracies, and misplaced attentions, although I still have yet to figure out why. heart I'm glad he does.

fube is one of the most wonderfully witty, intelligent and sarcastic people I have ever had the pleasure of talking to, and she spins the most groaningly awful puns on the planet. That aside, she is someone whose company I enjoy very much and would like to get closer to. And this is starting to sound like a made-for-tv movie so I'll stop. Draw us drinking and/or being loud and obnoxious, possibly with Twistex getting involved somehow ><
Idea for a july or august pic could be the two of us on a beach and him being a cranky cabana boy bringing me drinks and fube laughing at him or something. Muahaha. Long story. No, I will not elaborate.

Koko is my best friend IRL and the one who dragged my sorry a** into Gaia. She doesn't come around very much here anymore, but it would still be nice to see some drawings of her avatar and mine together. <3 You can also add the striped blue/green or green/orange scarves to this outfit, if you'd like.






Noraboo:

Noraboo has got to be the Almighty Queen of the Art Whores. She's the one the rest of us look up to. The one with the art from all the artists we yearn for. I've also looked up to Nora for modly guidance more times than I can count.






Seishin No Kibou:
Sei's my goofy, adorable, annoying little bro. I'm very protective of him, and if you hurt him I will tear you into tiny little shreds. That aside, he's a very sweet and fun person, and I love him to bits.

My bunny-loving, glue-blaming sisky. She is totally crazy, but in the best way possible. Sisky's another mod I look up to immensely, as well as an incredibly talented artist.
