I'm sure everyone has noticed the new item update. I sent in my petition a couple of weeks ago and it looks like it was seen! n.n Lets just hope that they continue to make more of the items unisex in the future. <3
POINTLESS ITEM GENDERING NEEDS TO STOP.
So many times there's been an item release, and half of the items are made specifically for female avis, and do not NEED to be.
NOTE: THIS IS -NOT- A CROSSDRESSING PETITION. IT'S A PETITION FOR MAKING REASONABLE ITEMS UNISEX THAT DON'T NEED TO BE ASSIGNED TO ONE GENDER.
I can understand things like skirts and dresses and bustiers/camisoles. But SCARVES? LEGWARMERS? Hats? Stockings? You've gotta be kidding me.
I really REALLY wanted one of the new pompom scarves. But I was disappointed.
Its absolutely pointless. It makes me hate having a male avatar sometimes.
Yes, I know there are male only items, but THOSE don't have to be ONLY for males, either. Not to mention most of them aren't very pretty anyway.
If anything, why not just make it so male avis can crossdress? I know tons of guys who would want to do that. :] But I'm not asking for THAT much. I just want to be able to wear more of the bloody items on Gaia. I'm tired of having a WAY SMALLER selection of clothes than females.
This petition was started because its been brought to my attention so many times, and I was told that I should. :] Hopefully the admins will smarten up and stop doing unnecessary things like this.

ITEMS THAT ME/OTHERS THINK SHOULD BE UNISEX:
1. Leg Warmers.
2. PomPom Scarves.
3. Winter Wraps.
3. Stockings. [striped, G-LOL, etc.]
4. Maid's Headband. [I mean seriously. They made the BAO for guys, didnt they?]
5. Nitemare Boots [the FEMALE style. Not that ugly male style. xP]
6. Bonnet.
7. Grass Skirts. [reasonable, no? There's kilts for guys.] And perhaps coconut bras, for satire.
8. Many of the G-LOL items, including shirts and shoes. Maybe even skirts. [I mean, gimme a break. G-LOL was pretty much DEFINED by MANA, who is a MAN. Making these items ONLY for females completely defeats the purpose of releasing them.]
9. ALL of the female items on the recent January item update, especially the tops and accessories.
10. Tuxedos, ties, boxers, suspenders and various male outfits for females.
Think of anything else? Post it. :]
