Here are the announcements. They will be updated at random times, due to events, wars, or new alliences.

November 06, 2005: The Gambino Army Base is online.
November 08, 2005: Weaponry has been edited from it's original list, Rankings were updated and a new rule was written.
November 10, 2005: A new Rule has been placed and the allies list has been updated.
November 19, 2005: Main jobs list was updated with the head of the groups, and the defenses were upgraded.
November 23, 2005: Rules were upgraded. We are also now closed for attack.
February 06, 2006: This is a major announcement that concerns other groups in the O/M. The Gambino Army Base is only concerned with the happenings within Gaia, not the U.S of A or wherever else your group is.
February 11, 2006: Weaponry has been updated. Thanks to General Sim_Cat

Registrations Forms


All Officers must fill one of these outs if they wish to join the army. After filled out, PM it to me and we will store it in our files at the guild. You will either be accepted or denied. If accepted, an invitation to the guild will be sent and ID Card will be issued. Do NOT post here until you have been accepted. I don't care for people posting saying that they want to join, if they do post here saying "I want to join", I'll automatically reject them. Don't waste my time posting here saying that you want to join, just send the form.

Name: Self-Explanatory and don't give me your username. Give a proper name, for the bloody hell of it. None of this "ultimatesoldier" as your name crap.

Main Jobs


These are the main jobs in the army so far. They will be updated as time goes by. The officers in charge of each will be listed later on in the Rankings. THESE ARE NOT RANKS. DO NOT PUT THESE ON POSITION DESIRED

Tacticians: It is your job to devise well thought out plans for whenever the situation might call for it. Examine each and every battle, and devise plans to help us in future situations. A well-devised plan is the key to victory.
Head Tactician: Tenken

Technicians: You are in charge of reconstructing the base if it has sustained damage from a battle. You are also in charge of devising new weaponry to help aid us in battle.
Head Technician: Slait

Recons: Stealth is the key for this job. You must always cover your tracks and make sure the enemy can not comprehend any of the information you have gathered. Code your information in a way only those in the army can understand. If the enemy can gain our information, we are as good as dead. Do not let them get the information, That is Priority 1.
Head Recon: Chiharu

LabTech: You work for G-Corp. Your job is to conduct various experiments and use hundreds of theories to create something that will be useful in the future. Science is a very powerful tool, Use it.
Head Labtech: Neon

Demolitions: Demolitions is your specialty. Demolish whatever you have been ordered to do. Simple and Clean like that.
Head Demolition: Sergius

Snipers: Your jobs are one of our most important. You are in charge of providing defense for the base. Deal with any trespassers who have come towards the base, without an appropriate message of approval beforehand.
Head Sniper:Wilhelm

Elite: You are some of the Gambino Army's finest soldiers. Your job is to deal with the enemy, at all costs. Your advanced training and skills will be useful in the upcoming battles.((You cannot ask to become an Elite. Elites are chosen by the Commander.))
Head Elite: Xander

Medical Staff: Your job is treat the injured from the Gambino Army Base. You must be skilled in medicine and healing. You must also have a clear understandment of what you are doing. Remember: Healers can be Killers.
Head Medic: Chi-Cura

Kitchen and Mess Hall Staff: Your weapon is a steak knife, your battlefield, the stove. This class is responsible for constantly keeping the other soldiers well-nourished. Remember, an army, hungry soldiers do not make.

Rules


These are the rules of the guild. Obey them and there will be no problems. Every officer must abide by these rules, no exceptions. These rules also count for any upcoming attackers.

1. No spamming: This is a very important rule. Those who lack the discipline to obey this rule will be blacklisted and banned from the topic.
2. No godmoding: You shouldn't posses every ability under the sun. If your going to have a various amounts of abilities, make a reasonable amount of them and a limit to how many times you can use them.
3. Be at least Semi-Literate: Please People, Let's not murder the English language. Mankind created Periods, Commas, Semicolons, and Quotation marks for a reason.
4. No cyber-sex: This is very important. Romance is allowed, but no cybering. Remember, Gaia is a PG-13 site and there are still kids on Gaia who are young and innocent.
5. Watch your language. A few swears here and there are okay, but let's not overdo it. We don't wanna see three paragraphs of mindless curses. Besides, there's a certain recon officer that will slap you for everyone you use.
6. Attacks are attempts. You can dodge the moves your opponent is throwing at you, if dodging is able. There is no way you can dodge a bullet to the head when the Gun's barrel is at the back of your head.
7. You cannot regenerate or dodge after every single attack. If your character does that unique ability of healing, it cannot work instantly, nor can it restore entire appendages in a matter of milliseconds. Actions like this will lead to you being blacklisted and banned from the topic.
8. If your character does have a transformation, it must be activated under certain circumstances. No Sudden Transformation then changes back and can continue to fight. If the transformation is that powerful, the only logical explanation afterwards is for your character to be completely drained of energy.
9. No Auto-hitting. You cannot come in, post that you shoot someone, and say it hit. Attacks are attempts, if there is a slight chance of the person being able to dodge it. They will use it. You cannot also do too many actions in one post. This leaves the person without a chance to perform some sort of counter-attack. That is, unless, you and the other person have already thought up a plan for a fight you will have, and you have decided which of your attacks will hit or not. That is the only exception.
10. Respect your superior officers. We respect and treat each others just the way we want to be treated. Treating another officer like trash will get you in big trouble with yours truly.
11. NPCs are allowed, but there is a limit to them. You must keep a reasonable of NPCs that are capable of fighting. That means no 900 million NPCs storming around and firing.
12. No highly explosive devices can be used to destroy entire base, until all members on have been defeated. If you are not sure if something is allowed ask or don't do it.
13. No huge quotes. Seriously, It gets annoying. Keep the quotes to a limit of two.

Base Information


This is the information of our base. It will be increased as our technology improves and we create newer facilities.

The Gambino Army Base is located several miles northwest of Barton Coast, overlooking the Isle De Gambino. It is on an uninhabitted island that over looks both Isle De Gambino and Barton Coast. The GA base is surrounded by a 15FT high titanium wall. With a defense tower with state of the art tracking and targeting systems. The towers are defended with built in Machine gun turrets and a few rocket pods. There is one road that leads into the base you must pass through the checkpoint at the gates to enter. At the far end of the base is the command center. On the right wall of the base is the vehicle garage and factory. Opposite that is the Barracks and the Research building which houses the Hospital and labs. Just outside the eastern wall is a large runway. About 6 meters in width and 100 meters in length. The runway is lined with small lights and turrents. At the end of the runway is a Hangar to park your air vehicle. Right outside the hangar is a Control tower.

Weaponry


This is the information on the weapons given to the soldiers here at the Gambino Army Base. The weapons will increase as time goes by, and we gain better technology for better machinery. Special Thanks to General Sim_Cat for the weaponry.

Defenses and Vehicles


The Defenses for the Gambino Army Base. As stated before, the defenses will be improved as our technology increases and can design better weaponry and defenses.

A half-mile from the base is a Mine field about 15FT deep. The field consists of both Anti Amour mines and Anti Personnel mines. A quarter of a mile away from the base is a ring of underground gatling gun turrets which can be quickly risen if a threat is detected. The turrets can fire at both air and ground units. At the base the wall can be garrisoned by GA soldiers. The 4 towers control all of the defense systems. Surrounding the base is a 10 feet titanium steel fence. 100 watt eletricity flows throughout the fence. Near the entrance of the base is a small gate conected to a card swipe machine for the members to swipe their guild ID. The gates open enough for a large semi truck to get by. Throughout the base and the surrounding forrest to the point of the mine field are censors and cameras. If an intruder approaches we will know. On the top of the main building is a large radar dish able to detect things just outside the atmosphere and in the surrounding area. When an emeny is detected or a mine is set off the intercom emits an alarm.
-An array of 60 point-defense full swivel fire-linked gauss plasma projectors placed inside and outside the base perimeter
-20 anti-aircraft quad-barreled fully automatic full swivel MasR arrays
-EMP mines dug 5 feet underneath the ground with the high-explosive mines
-Two massive HeRC arrays placed on either side of the command center
-4 Ion (EMP) cannons for taking out missiles and the like
-AI Hivemind controlling all of the defenses individually
-Plasma shell shield generator activation during heavy assaults.

Gambino Army Base: Galactic Protectorate Division
( Still In Development )


Deep within the confines of a subterranean cavern of Gaia's largest moon, resides the pinacle of Johnny K. Gambino's strife for power, the Gambino Army Base: Galactic Protectorate Division. From the outside, the base appears as if it were just a crater of shimmering rocks and boulders. This false exterior is due to the fact that its thirty-seven inch titanium walls are reinforced with twelve inch mythril plating and a self-sufficient plasma shield capable of reflecting ( or containing ) an average anti-matter explosion. The inside of the base is honey-combed with a labyrinth of hallways, laboratories, and living quarters. Consisting of six, well-develped floors, the Gambino Army Lunar Base serves as an outpost for the ground-based Gambino Army and is Gaia's first defense against hostile extra-terrestrial forces.

Open to Attack


We are currently open for attack. If you do wish to attack, you must have it cleared with myself. You cannot just come right in, and start a full out assault, especially when clearly says that we're not open for attack or if we just opened. Clearance with me for the attack is a must. Also, The Commanding officer must be on at all times during the time of the attack. If the commanding officer offline, the attack is postponed until a later time when the commanding officer is online. Also, you must obey all of the rules that we have stated. The rules count for our officers and attackers. Attacking an officer is the same as attacking the guild, since they are part of the guild. Failure to comply with these rules will have you immediately banned from the guild.

A man could be seen sitting down in a big chair. The G logo behind him as he slowly spinned around in the new chair. He turned to the computer sitting on his desk, and turned in on. "Ah...This is the life." Hirokato smirked as he brushed one of his long brown blonde bangs out of his eyes.

The Computer turned with an unique trumpet sound as it finished turning on. "Greetings Hirokato." The Computer's voice was a soft voice, as it waited for Hirokato's response. "What do you wish to do today?"

"Send a message to all previous Gambino Army members. Tell them that the new Base is online and functional." He smirked as the computer began to send mass messages to all of the members of the Gambino Army. "Who would of thought, Me, Hirokato, The Leader of the Gambino Army Base." He smirked as he put his hands behind his head and got comfortable in his new seat.

A civilian model vehicle could be seen on the road from a distance, headed toward the base at a somewhat hasty speed. The man inside, Gigas, began dialing a frequency on the com device that had been installed into the dashboard. He began speaking, the receptors picking up his voice and transmitting it to the base.

"Hello, this is General Orion of Deepest Wings, coming with permission from General Hirokato to enter- I request that the gates be opened so I can come in, over."

"Let him In." That was Hirokato's only response as the doors slowly opened up, giving Gigas a chance to get in. "I best be a good host and go see the guests." He smirked as he walked out off his office, adjusting his shades, and walking to the opening doors.
