Defenses:

Misslile Turrets:
fies SAMs, and AAMs

AAguns:
posted on the critical places where the missiles won't defend, theese are multi-role

Valkyrie squadrons: these are multi-purpose, attack and defense fighters, the bulk of the Balamb air and space fleet

Fighters (normal, atmospheric fighters): used when missions do not require space travel, not for space unless heavily modded. it is armed with twin vulcan cannons and twenty missiles.

Battle cruisers: these are huge spaceships also used to provide planetary bombardment from orbit, they are flying fortresses that are heavily shielded as well, the also hold plenty of Valkyries for smaller ships attacking them

Scout ships: these are small as a Valkyrie and are used for reconissiance, lightly armed.

Criusers: lightwieght, smaller versions of Battlecriusers and carrries a small number of Valkyries.lightly shielded

Orbital planetary sheild and ground based sheild generator: used in case of bombardment, they are strong enough to repel a high powered bombardments lasting a few years.

SeeDs: trained Elite soldiers.

Tanks:
just...plain...tanks

MD level: Made as a shelter before costructed ans the Garden, it is capable of flight and can travel in case of an attack

you can't attack Balamb one they state they're not open to attack and two we're allied to them so I wouldn't do that.
