So, this -was- my Portable Headphones quest thread. I saw no reason to create a new thread when I can dig this out from its dusty old closet. If you know me, you know I absolutely LOVE AND ADORE AND OBSESS over PUGS.
Last year, one of my pugs, Ripley, passed away from health complications/possible cancer. He lived for -fifteen- years. It was the third death in my family, right before finals spring semester, and was right before the end of my first year of graduate school. It really hit me hard, because Ripley had been in my family for so long. He was named as such because our first dog, Rosie, died of pug encephalitis. Believe it or not, we got another pug, thus Ripley. Ripley had been there for my family through two of mom's cancer scares, losing -all- of my grandparents, my mom's struggle for her PhD, all of my issues through my teenage years, etc. We had gotten a second pug, Roscoe, after my freshman year of college. Roscoe had given Ripley new lifeblood, and brought back some of his youth. They were like brothers, and absolutely adorable. Whenever I came home to visit I was guaranteed lots of kisses and being jumped on from pugs, with two wiggly curly tails of happiness. My parents came to pick me up from my apartment in the city right after they had said goodbye to Ripley. We all came home, and Roscoe was happy to see me as per usual, but then realized someone was missing. He went running all around the house looking for his big brother, not to find him anywhere.
I don't see my pug all the time, but whenever I see people walking pugs in the city, I will stop whatever I'm doing and go running to ask if I can pet the pug.
I have a collection of favorited pug pictures on the internet. I have pug plushies, shirts, socks, etc.
I LOVE pugs.
As such, when Gaia came out with Puggleston, I had to have him. In fact, I have 3.
Now, Gaia has Puck & Rocker. I got Puck. I NEED Rocker.
Hi, I'm Mokoni. I've been a member of Gaia since 2003. The sad part? The only '03 items I have are the Christmas items which is sad considering I've been there since September. I see people with the 2003 items and I feel all sad and jealous because I've been here since 2003 and I have squat, zip, nada, nothing. I did quest for the OMG hat [see events and stuff for proof], and then my (Gaian) brother gave it to me. I truely desire portable headphones, but that really isn't ever going to happen...or so I thought. PLEASE HELP ME MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE! This is my 4th time going for portable headphones, and I'm not giving up this time, at ALL.
