Due ot the old shop being put on nearly permanent Hiatus, I've offered to take over the shop in Hargun's place. It seems the real world is rather hectic for her and she doesn't have much time for leisurely activities. Any ill talk towards Hargun, and I'll send Tnaysan after you... twisted

Maliitsu/Chasers is looking for a Part-time OR Full-time Colorist! Benefits, if chosen for the job include:
--One custom Maliitsu (done by yourself, or Kylinari)--
--One Custom Chaser (done by yourself, or Kylinari)--
--All the profits for the ones you color (I'm not going to hassle with continuing trades, so you get all the gold for what you sell, etc.)--

Drawback of being a colorist:
--All stages of a Maliitsu/Chaser MUST BE COLORED/CERTED and SENT TO ME before being sold. Reason being, this is my main account and I don't wish to give away my password.--

Welcome my friends of all sizes, shapes, and livelyhood, to the realm of the Maliitsu. I must advise you not drift off to sleep, or get any bit drowsy while visitng. The clever and demonic Maliitsu feed off your dreams if you happen to slumber, they'll carry that lovely dream and plaster it to some uncared for wall or door in one of their colonies.

But Im pretty sure you wont fall asleep eh? Otherwise you wouldnt be able to see these rather majestic looking serpents. When you're awake and can see them with your very eyes, they cannot harm you and could be very easy to become allies with... *cough*

Maliitsu do not have the ability to speak, but they can comunicate via body motions, hissing, clicking, or chirruping. They do not interact with humans very often, and only answer to their allies or owners. When they choose to live in a well built colony, there is never any tension until breeding season is at hand and like most animals do, fight in order to get a mate. Other than that only personal grudges that go back a while can affect A Maliitsu's attitude towards another.

Shall we take a look? You might leave today with your very own Maliitsu. *nod* Just.. please.. be sure you read them pesky rules. ;D

Q. Do you have to RP Maliitsu to own them?
A. No. If you've paid for your Maliitsu (or duh.. have been given one) you are not required to rp them.

Rules of Basic Usage

As Maliitsu grow, they become longer, larger and a few more features are added to them. Here is a simple growth chart explaining their life span:

At the Egg stage, a Maliitsu has no ability whatsoever to attack you in your sleep. It can however shift around using the host root or leech keeping it in place. This leech stays with the Maliitsu for its entire life and cannot be removed or else it can kill the Maliitsu living off it. At this point three eyes of the root can be seen, but only one can truly work. The other two are incase the other one is harmed or faulty when the Maliitsu's egg is laid.

Once the Maliitsu has hatched and enters its Baby, or newborn stage, it is able to chew on someone?s dream. However its wings aren?t very strong, making it hard for it to stay in someone's head for too long. The leech closes one eye making the other too function better.

After feeding for a while and a week or two has gone by, the baby becomes an Adolescent. Adolescent Maliitsu are most dangerous at this stage if not allied. They're constantly hungry and searching for a weary snoozer to eat their thoughts. Indeed, not only are dreams unsafe but so are human thoughts that usually are in aide when the person is awake. People who've had an adolescent Maliitsu feed at their brains will wake up forgetting how to do several everyday tasks, their name sometimes, and a few people they know and/or love. Their leeches now have 8 eyes, 2 only temporarily functional. Their wings are also stronger and larger, making it easy for them to stay up and flying in someone?s head.

By the time an adolescent becomes an Adult its leech has formed many, many eyes, everyone with incredible vision, allowing the Maliitsu to see past hidden corners of the mind and to the delicious thoughts they need. However adults; appetites are far smaller than their adolescents' were. But, still they are dangerous none the less. In fact, the Adult Maliitsu have the ability to set up a colony in your head, and breed to produce more Maliitsu and form large societies just by themselves. If you've befriended a Maliitsu before this timeframe, you can rest assured it wont build its own world in your head my friend.

Recently there has been a discovery of an anti-maliitsu, or in this case, a Maliitsu Chaser.

The chaser Egg is unable to move with the exception of changing its size. The spiked-ring holds the egg in place, snug and safe. When chasers are in their eggs, they get energy from being stroked, and can easily life off this alone. After 3-5 days they develop limbs and advance to their newborns forms. But until then they have almost no use but a soft cuddly puff.

Baby/Newborn Chasers are very very playful beings. They arent very fast and are rather unorthadox at first, but once they get their feet moving, they can chase down one or two baby Maliitsu with almost ease. The spiked-ring holding them together as eggs is now wrapped around their abdomens, because their necks arent stable enough yet to carry it.

Nobody is quite sure what the Maliitsu see and why they like to eat dreams. But when they do eat dreams, they not only feed, they take parts of dreams and build colonies out of them.. like bees sorta only more calculated. They're not THAT smart to have a government, but each colony has a king and/or queen leading it. Once one is built its impossible to remove it.
Most researchers believe that this would be somewhat of what a colony by an avergae Maliitsu may look like:

However some believe theyre have been much more massive. Send us in a picture of what you think they may look like.. youll get credited and stuck on the front page right here biggrin .
OR, you can choose to roleplay your Maliitsu inside one of these realms rather than drawing one. Feel free to start a realm of your own for your Maliitsu but remember.. whatever happens in there, stays in there. So if you plan on your Maliitsu forming and running one, inform me of it and update me if other members are added. Your Maliitsu can always visit other colonies but it can only own one, and only one forever.
Whevever you choose to make the rp though, be sure and pm me or post your thread/journal/conversation or whatever so we can keep it in our records.

Like most animals of course, Maliitsu breed. They can breed trhough any gender however so it is not require that you have a male and female.
BUT. Breeding is almost the same as customing, and will cost you a little to breed your Maliitsu. 5k or 2.5k from each of you.. whichever is better for you.
When it is breeding season or you are allowed to breed your Maliitsu, the sign here will tell you. 5 is the limit at a time for breeding. You must pm me or post if the time is right, but I will need consent from both owners (if youre breeding your own then nvm)

Maliitsu Chasers are cheaper than Maliitsu customs. ^^ They only cost 4k for an adult and rise by 3k the younger you start them by.
