I got a little bit of feedback concerning this here and I still think it would be an excellent idea if you're a person that appreciates any type of organization. If you aren't, then... this won't affect you. ^_^
So I suppose that we all win on this one.

I am proposing that we can organize our Subscribed Threads via one of two three ways:
1. Gaia Categories- Better than nothing, at least all your Computer & Technology questions go in one section, your Life Issues advice in another, you and your friends quests are grouped together, and all of those various threads you save to check out later or just keep an eye on.
2. User-Created Folders- You name it, it is based on your personal descriptions. There may or may not be a limit to the number of folders one can create/have.
Ideas: hangouts, check-out-later, threads to bump, friends' quests, charities, information, roleplays, memorable threads, etceteras!
3. Dividers- Basically, all of your threads are as they are now, but in sections or "dividers" sort of like those in a browser's bookmarks.

Keep in mind that all methods should be able to offer the system to see which of the threads have been posted in most recently. Also, this would be OPTIONAL; meaning that if you prefer the system as it is now then you do not have to use any of these.

Why not just put them into your favorites forder? You can organize that as much as you like. 3nodding

Good point. In fact, this used to be the method I would use since the "subscribed threads" option use to not work for some time. But... I used to have to access Gaia through several different computers, mostly through the public library system and work (on my breaks). I did not have a home computer that had internet access, therefore "bookmarks" were not a luxury for me. (Although the benefit of such is keeping the place of an important post in a particular thread.)
Besides, the bookmarks on your computer cannot display which threads have been updated recently.

as for the person who brought up putting them in your favorites folder, you can't exactly tell if anyone has replyed recently or not. It seems like it would be quiet a lot of work to go threw ALL of your subscription threads when on Gaia you can tell what has new repies along with going directly to the last post. To people who don't have many subsciption threads or have a fast internet connection I'm sure favoriting works great, but it just doesn't work for all of us.

Hmm... interesting point! An option for your Subscribed Threads to be made "private" or "public"...

*signs enthusuiatically* I'm subscribed to so many! it gets so hard to find them. I wish they could be sorted as well as be able to add notes on, so I can distinguish each edit shop I'm subscribed to.

I think this is a good idea, not sure how feasible but a nice point.

This is a great idea heart I'd love to have different sections where you can place them whre you like. The Forum one wouldn't work all that well for me personally because most of mine are in the same forum. xD

Guidelines

When collecting signatures please post something along the lines of "I'll sign" or *signs*. Image signatures are fine (and very cool!) but when I add names to the petition list I will just copy and paste your avy's username. ^_^
