General
- Direct-link your sig image until it has reached adult stage. At that point, please save to your own server. The full images are direct-linked at all times in the first post of your diary. If you would like a copy of these, please save them to your own server. Those discovered using our bandwidth will be grey-listed.
Do not steal these images. This is a Black List worthy offense.
Do not alter these images in any way without express permission by Juu Sanshi, ChibiSchuldig, Shinobu Angel, or Trio Maxwell-Chang.
Be courteous to others in this thread at all times.
Do not use PMs or Instant Messengers to request a pet. They will be ignored and may earn you a place in the Grey List. The only exception to this is if you wish to send an anonymous gift to someone. Please note that failure to read the information in the first page (and we will be able to tell) will have the same grey list result, even if the PM is for an anonymous gift.
Co-owning is NOT allowed.
Do not whine or pout if you do not own one of our pets. And do NOT bother those who do own one. Such behaviour will earn you a place on the Black List.
Your pet will NOT go away if you do not RP it. However, those who RP their pets regularly and often may find they gain more benefits than those who do not. You may find more details about this in the RP rules section.
PLEASE post a name in the thread for the pets you buy... We cannot make the certificates without a name.
We are not required to remind you to read the rules. If you have not read them or do not comply with them, we are not required to point it out. We will most likely simply ignore your request, so please be certain to read the rules.
Flatsales
- Flatsales are priced at 4000g (4k).
Flatsales will start with a 'go' post, regardless of whether they involve writing or speed. Details of the flatsales will always be found in the Available post.
There will be no editing of posts. If you are caught editing, you will find yourself blacklisted.
Do not whine in this thread. If you are angsting over the Juusanshi, take it elsewhere. If you think you have a legitimate concern, you may contact me.
Auctions
- All auctions start at: 4000g (4k)
Auctions will be clearly posted on the first page AND the current page in the thread.
Both posts will contain links to the auction thread.
Auction times will be clearly listed on the first post of the auction thread.
No sniping: Bidding within the last hour of an auction will extend it until there have been no bids for a full hour. At that time, the last (highest) bidder wins.
Auctions do not end with a closing post. They use server time to determine end.
Please note that whining or asking a person who has decided to bid/autobuy not to do so will result in you immediately being put on the black list. We do not condone such behaviour.
Ordering Customs
- Trio Maxwell-Chang will open spots occasionally, allowing someone to order a semi-custom or full-custom Juusanshi for a flat rate. The prices may be found in their posts.
When a slot is open, anyone may claim it and post an order.
Once the order is posted, you must begin a trade for the full cost of your Juusanshi. If you wish to pay in letters or items, you must first get this approved by the person whose spot you're claiming.
This trade will be confirmed once the stone is delivered. The Juusanshi spirit housed within the stone should manifest within a week or two after the stone's delivery, barring extenuating circumstances.
Completed Juusanshi who, for whatever reason, are not paid for will be auctioned.

- What exactly ARE the Juusanshi?
They're spirits housed within stones. Because of a disastrous plague in their world, they have sent their spirits through into Gaia, and once summoned from the stone, will be bonded to a Gaian. Each Juusanshi has animal characteristics relating to its species, such as ears and a tail.
What species are there for the Juusanshi?
Cat, Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar.
Why those species, exactly?
These are the animals from the Chinese Zodiac, plus the addition of the cat. The Zodiac is part of the inspiration for the Juusanshi, and so we've used those animals.
Why are you including cats?
Within their world, Cats are the rulers of the Juusanshi. The original concept was inspired loosely on Fruits Basket, though we've many other plans for it.
Are these RP pets?
More or less. If you wish to purchase your Juusanshi solely to sit in your sig, that's totally up to you! And if you choose not to RP your Juusanshi for an extended period of time, you will not be penalized for it in ANY way. However, the Juusanshi were intended as pets that one would RP, and there are benefits to doing so.
How do I know if there are any available?
You may check in two places - either the Available Juusanshi post or the Customs post. In the Available Juusanshi, you will find previews of stones or fully-summoned Juusanshi needing a bonded. In the Customs post, you are welcome to order only if the spot says open in green font.

2. If a spot is open, post in the thread to claim the spot.
3. Post the details of your claim (what type of order you'd like to place and those details), then start a trade with Trio Maxwell-Chang for the appropriate amount.
4. The trade will be confirmed when you receive the certificate.

The Juusanshi live in a world known as Shisei, a beautiful world that is rich in magic and culture. Thirteen species of Juusanshi coexisted in (mostly) peaceful harmony, with the cats sitting above the rest, as the rulers and nobles of their world.Then came the Soul-Eater Plague.
Now Juusanshi of all races are sickening and dying, the magic running out of them like water from a sieve and leaving them to die, weakened shells of their former selves. While the very old simply make themselves comfortable and wait for their natural end, and the young and vital children are able to recover if the plague is diagnosed quickly, adult Juusanshi were forced to take a different route to survive.
Adult Juusanshi are sending their souls out to be housed within stones in Gaia. These stones are then passed to responsible Gaians, and the Juusanshi summoned and bonded to their Gaian. This bond restores their connection to magic, and heals them of the plague.
But the summoning process changes them. Because they join with the stone, they are in spirit form, and have lost their old bodies. Their new ones, created by magic during the summoning process, look superficially alike, but are androgynous and barren. These Juusanshi will never be able to have children - though at least they're alive. It's a difficult choice that they have had to make.
Now they must explore a new world, get to know their bonded Gaian, and also a host of other Juusanshi who now live in Gaia. Though they can visit Shisei through the portal in the back room of the shop, they will always return here, where their bonded lives, to renew their connection to magic.
The Roleplaying FAQ
- Do I have to roleplay my Juusanshi?
No, you don't have to. Your Juusanshi won't be taken away, and it will be summoned as normal even if you never visit the shop after you buy the stone. (Though, we'd like you to at least come by for the summoning. It's just nicer that way and more fun)
Where do I roleplay my Juusanshi?
Most Juusanshi roleplaying is done either in the Guild or here in the shop thread.

We prefer that people try to stick to grammar rules that don't sound like they were invented by martians. If english is not your first language, don't worry about that. But please no l33t-speak or chatspeak.
What about Diaries?
When you receive your stone, a diary will be made for you in the guild. It's up to you whether you use it or not, but those who do, and who roleplay in the guild and in the shop thread will receive certain benefits.
Benefits? What benefits do I get for roleplaying? I thought you said we didn't have to roleplay!
You don't have to, but if you do, certain nice things might happen. Your Juusanshi's stats may increase, and he may gain new spells. More information about this can be found in the guild. Also, once summoning opens, a pair of Juusanshi who have roleplayed their union will be able to summon more Juusanshi from Shisei than a pair who simply gave us gold.
What are the spells?
The spells are magical abilities and powers that Juusanshi are born with and can learn. All Juusanshi start with some spells, and more can be gained through roleplay.
All spells come from Dungeons and Dragons, from Wizards of the Coast.
Well, how much roleplaying do I have to do in order to gain these benefits?
There is no set amount of roleplaying that you have to do in order to gain these benefits. If you do one really good roleplaying session, that can be enough, though a single line like this:
Bad RP Example
Satoshi hugged Seppen. "Let's get married" he said.
"Okay!" said Seppen, and they did.
"Okay!" said Seppen, and they did.
- ...probably won't be enough. At least, not unless there's been several sessions leading up to it, in which Satoshi and Seppen's relationship developed, or at least mention in their diaries about it. The difference should be fairly obvious, and if you're not sure, please just ask rather than trying something and getting upset.
