I, along with many people within GAIA Towns, have been seeing cybering out in the public and yes, even in houses of people they don't even know. I give you the one way, without getting flamed (At least much), to report these users. Please note, while many of you already know what to do, there are many other users that don't so this guide is for them.

First off, let's start with the window screen. The chat log is able to open up four times; none, quater screen, half screen, full screen. In this case I have it at about half. I suggest that you personally open it up to full and copy around the same time it starts.

Here are the things needed to provide when reporting:

Cyber's name(s)

Don't know how to get into the Chat Log for GAIA Towns? There is a little white box above the Typing Space, you can click that to open the Chat Log up to different sizes.

As for the people you need to report it to, you have to PM a purple mod. If you don't know any, you can visit this mod list: Jesi's Moderator List. The link will take you directly to the post with the purple mods. From there, click on the names and go to their profiles until you find an online mod. Then send them the chat log as well as a hosted screenshot via PM.

You have now reported one of the worst things you'll come across on GAIA Towns, and also one of the most "illegal".

For the record, as far as GAIA's concerned, RP of any sexual act is considered non-PG13, and will get you warned or banned. This is basically because a lot of minors use the site, and GAIA Online getting pegged as somewhere that creepy internet perverts can go for a dose of underage cybersex is bad news for the admins, and for the site as a whole. So it gets stomped. Cybering does not belong anywhere on GAIA Online. Not in Towns, not in Fishing or Casino chat, not in PMs, not on the forums. talk2hand

I haven't ran across any serious cybering so far. I've only seen the users joking about it. Where they all stand around in a circle together going from kneel to stand continously.

I wouldn't report those as I don't view that as cybering unless they're serious about it with explicit wording.

Heh, the users I've seen that were joking were hilarious. There was tons of "y halo thar!" bubbles flying about with gonk emoticons, and hearts. rofl

But I'd suggest reporting the users that are role playing it out with detail. That's not the joking variety as far as I'm concerned.

First off you should watch for who you call a n00b. You don't know him. Secondly, if you check his profile it states that he joined in 2003, meaning that he's been on the site longer than you have. If he has been here for three years, he obviously has been here long enough to kow what cybering is.

P o c k e y, as stated in the previous post and the first post, I don't want to use references that depic actual cybering. I'm only using examples that will give users the idea of what I'm talking about. Then again, even what I posted would upset the stomachs of many users.

If that was cybering then I should have been reported a LONG time ago. Especially yesterday (poor Bogie...). You obviously don't know Hazy and the rest of the GDers all too well. And yes... I did make sweet love toa rock. And it darn well enjoyed it too.

EDIT: And I see it as an example, but don't worry about showing an ACTUAL example. It's perfectly acceptable in such an instance (unless a moderator says otherwise).

I think the majority of the GCD would need to be reported. If what we were doing is considered cybering. pirate
