Awesome layout. I'm anxious to hear Hau Ruck (sp?). I loved the Attak album, personally.

Oh, does this go for mdfmk, too? I'm assuming so..

You all know Hau Ruck is already out, right? Mine should be coming either Saturday or Monday. Iv'e heard the album already though, and it's damn good. It's not nearly as political as WWIII was, though New American Century would have fit in with the album perfectly. My favourite song on it is by far Professional Killer.

I'd say the album has a mix of style to it. Some of the songs have a early KMFDM sound to them (Hau Ruck), some Mid-90's KMFDM (Ready To Blow), and even a little MDFMKish at times (Mini Mini Mini). A very solid album. It's certainly up there among my favourite albums.

Nihil's still number one, though. Duh.

KMFDM are truly the most freaking awesome pioneers of Industrial music. I :heart: them! On a side note: I'm looking forward to the new CD and I recently ordered a t-shirt of theirs. I can't wait to get it!

Sick, I've been looking for a KMFDM forum. I have Nihil, Symbols, Xtort, and Attak; the first two being my favorites. If I had to pick one, though, I'd say Symbols. On that, I'm definitely going out and getting Hau Ruck this weekend. I love all kinds of Industrial, Metal, and all combinations thereof.

Actually, KMFDM aren't the "self-proclaimed fathers of industrial-rock" (or at least self-proclaimed, anyway). Sascha doesn't even consider their sound 'industrial'; he refers to it as 'ultra heavy-beat'. Regardless, they do rock, & I agree, 'Nihil' is the best, although 'Xtort' is right up there

*cough* I mean I liked KMFDM up untill about "Adios" when they broke up. Because every album after that they got that one girl, and I don't like the way she sings.

Edited: Besides, I would think the fathers of Industrial would be more like...MINISTRY...

That's a joke. Supposedly there's a huge rivalry between Depeche Mode fans and KMFDM fans.

Actually, you guys may be able to clear the meaning of the acronym up. I believe its supposed tp stand for "Kein mitleid fur die mehrheit". Could someone confirm this?
