I made this thread when I first joined Gaia. I was proud that it took off so quickly and that I was able to meet some great Dir en grey fans here on gaia. I'm back here again just for this moment and I am sad that it has become what it has become - a place for people with no manners and no love in their hearts to rant and rave and beat up other fans.
It makes me disgusted to see how everyone acts and reacts to what everyone else says. Countless times, I begged Buyo to attempt to get this thread shut down during the previous year (2005) because the cruelty toward the band and their fans was just too much to bear.
Now, to see it reduced so badly to bitches and mean people that it had to be moved to the chatterbox, of all places....
I am sad to say that I have lost faith in Dir en grey's fans, and I hope that not all of them are as mean as some of the people here are. I can only hope that one day, people will begin to wise up and except eachother, despite how badly one may type, or how little CDs and songs they had listened to.
I am starting to believe that this day will never come. I have lost faith in all of you, and I hope you all know this. I do, however, thank those of you who have kept the love for such a talented group of musicians alive. It gives me some hope, but only a little.
You may flame me and rip me to shreds all you want, but I will not be here to witness it. I am glad, because I do not want to see such a disgusting thing happen. It is not the fact that I am being trashed that offends me, but it is the idea that the people who stand up are being trashed for voicing their opinions.
I hope you begin to realise that hope and love are much stronger and better emotions than hatred. It is sad that most of you must get your happiness from shattering other people's dreams.
