Note that this takes place in mid-evil times. No guns, no electricity. No modern technology at all. Magic is welcome though ^.^
Lillya speaks:
The first of my kind? Her name was Sonya. She was the first of the Vampires. She was the first of the damned. She gave her mortal soul for a man by the name of Thorain. I dont know the whole story. I dont think many of my kind do. But I know this. Because of our damnation. Because of what we are, we are the keepers of this earth. We are the gaurdians of all holy, and all unholy. Some adore us, some envy us, some hate us. But even so. We are to protect some of them. For those that have not sinned are the Key. They are the Key to everything. Renia explained it well. She told me that certain humans are the fate of the world. They are the ones to master the unkown through determination. Those that we protect, are the ones to tame the darkness. They are the ones to unlock everything.
Garthan says that they will allow me life back, if I bring them to him. He says I must gain my Sinless Child's trust... and bring him to him. Loki... Thats his name. He is the key to my mortality. To my life. I'll do anything to get those back... Anything. Even if it means his life.
Renia speaks:
The first of the Damned was Sonya. The first of my kind was her brother, Tell. I am a Lycan. Simply that, and nothing more. My duty is to protect those who are without sin. For they are to stop the greatest Darkness. Lillya doesn't fully understand, but all is well. Our story is soon to begin.
Mirriel speaks:
There are few of the Vampires in this world. And there are even fewer Lycans. But all are near a human. I find it odd how they all act like dogs. Loyal to only one human. They behavior is awkward to me. But then, I've only seen a few.
I find it hard to believe there are so few. Daddy says they are gaurdians of something. I asked him of what. He said only the Gods and the vampires knew. It makes me wonder.... If they are beings created to protect, then what is that they must protect?
Livia Speaks:
Hello stranger. Welcome to a new chapter in history. I am a Goddess. I and others know why the Damned are here. They are to protect the sinless. The sinless are to save the world. A greater darkness brews as we speak, threatining to take all life away. The Damned will soon atone for their sins by helping the innocent along in their quest. The Damned know this, and soon their companions will know that they are the earths final hope. Now please stranger, look closeley. For the first part of our story is about to unfold.
Garthan Speaks:
Soon, this world will be mine. Soon, darkness will consume the hearts of all. And the Sinless and their precious gaurdians will be helpless. My army now rides to the city of Neveria and will overtake it. Soon, the Gods will tremble before me.
The city Neveria:
The king fell to his knees, blood seeping through his finger tips. He could hear the helpless cries of his people just beyond the castle walls. Tears of pain and remorse streamed down his face as his wife's beautiful face flashed before his eyes. She was his life. To him. She was more impartant then life. Then came darkness. He didnt even hear his wife call out his name. She saw him fall, and ran. She ran through out the hallways, in attempt to save her childs life. Then she too was striken to the ground. Her life gone, before her childs could even begin.
Screams peirced the cold night air. Renia took Mirriel by the wrist and ran. The lycan ran with speed, pulling the sinless child along. "What is going on? Where are taking me? Who the hell are you!?"
Lillya glanced behind her and said, "I'm your gaurdian. Thats all there is to it." With that, she drew her swords and prepared for a battle. With inhuman strength, she threw Mirriel high into the air. The girl screamed before landing on a branch in an ancient oak. Renia sneered and flashed her fangs as twenty of Garthan's army surrounded her. A sword flew, and lodged itself in one's head. The dance had begun. They charged at her, she jumped into the air, and landed....
Loki Speaks:
Fire everywhere.... My king, he's gone. My lady, she's dead as well. The town is gone. The once proud place the I served under as a common guard has fallen, and I did nothing to stop it. My wife died, trying to run with me, but I just took her wedding ring, and ran with it. I keep it by me always to remind me of when I lost my family, my home, and my life. I could have saved them. They were the closest thing to family I've ever had. And I left them. I should have stayed. I should have saved them or died trying. I am not a warrior. I am only a weakling...
Our story has truly begun.
