And alcohol is perfectly safe? Wanna know the difference between them? Eh? Alcohol is legal. And I'd love to see proof of your cannabis user's claim.

The drug itself, is safe.

But what people do as a result of it, can be dangerous. Not always, not even often, but yes it does happen.



Stealing? Sure. Hurting/killing? Doubt it. Marijuana is not a physically addictive substance, like other drugs like cocaine and heroine. Behaviors such as killing and hurting other people for drugs/drug money is much more common in cases of drugs that one can ACTUALLY get addicted to.

I suppose since they thought it doesn't have many health affects, it's not fatal, thus it's safe, thus many people got addicted to it. It may not be as dangerous as other things such as cigarrettes, but I think if your going to waste your life spending money on marijuana and trying to get it, that's already wasting a life right there. Not to mention the people affected by this person.

Example: A guy in the family gets addicted to marijuana. He keeps using all of his money on it and ends up dropping out of college because he's so addicted. The parents will have wasted money and time trying to make him have a good life, and younger siblings will have a very bad role model to look up to.

There are no safe drugs; everyone gets affected in some way, directly or not.

By the way, I'm not saying I hate all people who use the drug, I'm just saying they should make smarter decisions because it's not safe.

my uncle use's it and he's fine im not sure if it is true what he said but he use's it for medical problems but the doctor decline it to him but at least its not as bad as doing meth or anything

Marijuana doesn't cause people to get addicted like that- that's PHYSICAL addiction. Marijuana is PSYCHOLOGICALLY addictive. And addicts don't kill for their fix- they steal.

And what does alcohol do? Delirium tremens? That's good! What else? Violent behaviour and a lack of self-control or perception of danger, being responsible for a huge number of assaults and intoxicated-while-driving issues? Woo!

And cannabis has only been proven to cause psychosis or violent behaviours in teenagers that have latent schizophrenia.

Pot is not addictive. There's some risk of psychological dependancy but that doesn't happen. And if it did, do you know what would cut down on, if not eliminate, those deaths that don't happen?

Legalizing it, so that it's readily available and well-regulated.

The people who hit rock-bottom often are on Crack or Heroine, both physically addictive drugs that affect your mind and body, changing the chemicals in your brain.
