Mtnevermind:
You walk into a forest, and stride confidently in. Having no idea why you are doing this, you feel something tugging you here. Looking back, you start in shock. The forest had closed up behind you! Running at the tree line, you simply crash into a tree, not improving your situation at all.
Dejectedly, you walk back into the forest, and seemingly aimlessly trudge through it. You see light shining ahead, breaking through the canopy that the trees have been casting over you for hours. Runningly joyfully into it, you enter a sparkling meadow, with unimpaired beauty, nothing marring its perfection. You call out for somebody, but there is no answer. Suddenly, something small and furry barrels into you from behind!
Knocked over, you quickly leap up and turn around. Yet there is no sign of your attacker. Sighing briefly, you walk toward the edge of what seemed to be a small cliff, and look down. Your gaze blurs as you see that you are at the very top of a mountain, yet the climate is no different from what you are used to! "Yes, it is a long ways down..." somebody said in a sad voice.
Whirling around, you see a group of dejected looking furry animals, seemingly related to foxes. "Sorry for running into you earlier..." One of the younger ones took a step forward as it said this. "We were playing tag, and I didn't see you, and I just ran away... sorry..." You forgive the adorable little critter, and it smiles happily, bouncing around. "I remember when the humans came before..." A creaky voice sounded behind the foxes.
They parted respectfully for an ancient fox, who slowly crawled forward, with the help of two younger foxes. "They came here, and captured us, putting us in cages, and taking us away. Those who were taken away were never seen from again..." The elderly fox stopped, a fit of coughing overcoming it. "What are you going to do, now that you have found us?"
Unsure of what to do, you decide to stay there on the mountain, and care for some of the foxes that wanted to live with a human. The foxes seemed happy enough with this arrangement, as they had been lonely up there by themselves for all this time.
