Ok I, 881579, tried to trade with another gaian using the trade button.
I type the gold amount then click add,
I get this:
Your trade window is empty. You cannot start a trade with an empty trade window. Click here to try again.
Ummm.... click try again and nothing. *sigh*

I started a trade at the bank at around 8 AM PST (Feb 10), but after that I tried adding the gold this message showed up:

I am having a problem like that too. I start a trade and then try to add my gold/item and it bring up the error message 'Your trade window is empty. You cannot start a trade with an empty trade window. Click here to try again.' I have tried clicking on the here button but it does not work now there is a trade stuck in my pending trade list. I would like this bug fixed so i can trade.

I've gotten the same error message, but nothing has changed...
I recieved it as I was trying to put money into a trade...

Is there a way to cancle a trade??? I can't sell stuff on the market place because of it....

Every time I try and add money, I get the "General Error" message. It says that "Your trade window is empty. You cannot start a trade with an empty trade window. Click here to try again." I can't trade!

I started a trade.
The error occurred when I tried to add an item to the trade and clicked "OK". The bank then told me that I can't send an empty trade, even though I wasn't trying to. Now when I click on the trade from the pending trades list in the bank, it immediately tells me that I can't send an empty trade; thus I can't do anything about the trade sitting there.

The error occured after I got into the Trade menu where you view both yourself and the person you're trading with, when I tried to add the item and gold I was trading it brought me to the "You cannot trade when your window is empty..." error.

Exact Error Received: Your trade window is empty. You cannot start a trade with an empty trade window. Click here to try again

This error never let my trade go through no matter what item or how much gold I entered. Its corrupting my trades x.x

I was trading with a friend. I hit the button to confirm and send trade and the item "Jingle Bells" was deleted/lost. Checked out Pending trades and it said there was "no Active trades at this time". I checked my items in my profile and it wasn't there. figured if my friend didn't have it maybe it didn't go through with the trade. Thats about all i can say, i didn't even know the bank was having problems. xp

When i selected the item and clicked ok, I got the same message as Serapis

"Your trade window is empty. You cannot start a trade with an empty trade window. Click here to try again"

It basically just wont let me enter any items, thus not allowing me to trade at all.

I was trying to trade a letter for feb o5 and I got into the trade menu but when I clicked the letter to trade it gave me the message of

"Your trade window is empty. You cannot start a trade with an empty trade window. Click here to try again."

I tired different items to confirm, and even gold but every time I tride to use different items to trade, even gift wrapped a fishing rod, nothing went to the section which shows what your trading, it always gave me the message I listed.

Started Trade

I started a trade with another user to send payment and when I tried to add gold I got:

Clicking on the trade now gives me that same error and nothing can be done with it. It is still sitting in the bank as a new trade.

xd That's because your account was created back when Gaia didn't have very many users yet. ^^

sweatdrop 5 pages while I was sleeping. Lots of errors. I'll start trying to put together some notes on all of this in a few hours.
