Often both mispellers and "Grammar Nazis" get me annoyed. I don't
soo (drop one 'o'.) much mind spelling errors in a post. Most all of us do that sometimes. It is just really annoying when they misspell the post title, especially with easy words. They can easily go back and change the mispellings. The "Grammar Nazis"
, (does not belong there.) get me upset because some seem to sit there all day correcting people. It makes them look bad because it is all they have to bother the person with. On the internet a person is often judged too easily by their
type (to typing.) skills. After all, that is the first thing we see in chats and posts. I don't mind if I misspell around friends. I often type very fast, so it happens. With boards and posts I try to correct myself. Gaia needs a spell check!

*post complete- with lack of spell checking*
I agree with you fully on where you are coming from, but if we continue to let this slip, or let that slip, are we not letting the problem develop further? The English language is not taught to you in school for you to completely ignore it everywhere else. You may not think about it, but those small flaws in your typing, or those small misspelled words will add up. Think about it: If there was a writer who was writing a novel, but misspelled a word here or there, would you not take note to them? Although they may be small misspellings, most people tend to see the flaws more than anything else. I guess this might only be me, but I tend to get annoyed about those small things. I mean, can people at least learn to spell 'grammar' correctly? Is that asking for too much? Go back through this thread, and see how many people misspelled 'grammar', and you will be surprised. By the way, I am sorry for correcting your post: A little OCD thing of mine. But think about what I have said.
