An Ancient Tome of Legend

In the time when legends were born, there lived an extraordinary race in the forests of the world. They kept to these forests, for the outside world was unkind to them. It did not understand.

These beings, in normal appearance, resembled slim humans, tall and very thin, as if they might break if looked at the wrong way. They were physically weak, and tended not to come down from their cities in the treetops. However, traders valued them for the exquisite art and craftwork they did... especially delicate painted masks, which seemed a specialty of the people. Aside from the traders, they were isolated, and happy with this.

For the masks held power. The people could shed their weak bodies by using the power of their craftsmanship, and the ancient craft of mask-forging. They sold colorful and lovely masks to the traders, but saved the most special for themselves alone. The masks were of animals and fantastic beasts.. and, when worn by one of the kin, would grant the shape and strength of that beast to the wearer. They were the Skinchangers...

Special Qualities: Can eat up to two times her body weight in human flesh. Can regenerate lost limbs by using flesh she's consumed. Can manipulate own flesh with flesh she's consumed.
Personality: While doing her best to remain a good person, Lu sneaks out at night to eat people in prison. Only those murderers and rapists will be on the menu. She hates having to feed herself like that, but she knows it can't be helped. She was abandoned as a child due to her nature, and makes up for her lonelyness by being loud, talkative, and holding many parties.

She loves company and noise. She becomes depressed when things are slow or silent.

She's very vengeful, should anything bad come to pass over her family or friends. She'd stop at nothing to tear apart someone who might hurt her or her family. Her sharp teeth are good weapons for this.

Lu loves having children around that aren't human - that way they're safe from any sudden hunger attacks. She's only able to eat humans, so everyone in her household is non-human. She's very paranoid when it comes to her hunger.

She seems to have a penchant for showing off her skin as well. People might think she's a slut, (which she hates) but in actuality, clothing makes her skin itch terribly.

Neruo - Feien Fairy Neruo is a kindhearted soul, who lives only to help others. He is a tiny apothecary of sorts, making potions for healing and other medicinal purposes. He's only four inches high, but he makes a very strong and polite presence.

September 4th - Gyre is born!
September 5th - Sosiqui discovers Gyre's nature as a Legend, and that she's expected to take care of this cranky, noisy child. Sigh... She finds and visits the Legend HQ for the first time, where she meets Cubi. Gyre sees Prana and Waya briefly, and plays for a bit with Chandra.
October 13th - Gyre comes to me... eek
November... Met Kitsumai, Kamiki, Pink and Guinevere! Gyre gets up in a tree? Lucius arrives!
