Kia stepped into the store, pushing the glass door aside and holding it there with an old coal bucket, filled with odd metal screws and bolts. Once in, she glanced backwards at the person following her, while a shiny flash zoomed away from Kia's shoulder and settled on top of an old clock.

"We here! This is Momma's shop... I thought these things you might find interesting!"

"Might being the key word." Cog muttered in Egyptian, hovering and watching the newcomer.

Kia glared at the cog, and got the mental feeling of that it made at her when it 'chuckled'. Aurora came downstairs at that point, waving to the cog and to Kia.

^_^ I've finally had a chance to look around this breedables forum, and wow... there's so much out there! sad I'm glad I started doing this before becoming intimidated by the competition. xd ))
((Hi Emme! Thank you so much for the book... it's wonderful! I can't wait to see Sophie! *squee*))

Morion was close behind Kia. "An antique shop?" The dragon Fa'e looked around at everything, taking a moment to absorb the environment. It was nice... certainly Morion's type of store. "How did Neith ever find this place?"

He stepped further inside, craning his neck to see everything. For a moment he didn't even notice that Aurora had also arrived.

Then he blinked and smiled at the younger girl. "How do you do," he said politely.

Morion's own fandangle, Quark, twirled and glowed near his shoulder. It hovered over to Cog and began examining the clock.

Kia's familiar, Cog. ^_^ ))

"She and two of her friends found the shop falling apart, filled with boxes and mirrors, so they bought it. And then Momma gave me a vase from store, Rei got mirror, Miss Emme got mirror too... and Aurora came from vase."

Aurora nodded, wandering right up to Morion and peering up at the blue dragon. Then her face lit up in smiles, and she told him. "Hello. I'm Aurora, who are you?"

Kia tugged a box of old books off the couch, and sat down on it. It was clean for the most part, the shop wasn't quite as tattered as before. "Yes, that one. Anyway... so they had to fix up store, but there all kinds of interesting things in here! You can look at things if you want, even take something. There so much, you could have anything, I think."

Cog spun around to watch Quark, content with hovering where he was. It was a good veiw up here, after all, there was no real need to move around.

(( xd I'm glad too. But we've got a good idea, we don't need dozens of people. ^^ Just some nice ones. ))
((Cog looks neat. biggrin ))

Morion's eyes widen slightly as Kia explains. "From a vase?" he thinks. "This place has secrets." Secrets were perfectly fine with him, though it made him all the more curious.

He looked from Aurora to Kia, then back again, smiling slightly. "My name is Morion... pleased to meet you, Miss Aurora." He bows, sweeping his wings back carefully.

He can't help but continue to glance around, making note of all the antiques still laying about. "Oh, I wouldn't want to just take something... you could probably sell this stuff for quite a bit of money..." His voice trails off slightly as he notices a bookcase standing in one corner, full of dusty old tomes. Morion's eyes widen. It's the mother load... o__o

Quark hovers up near Cog and blinks his light, trying to be friendly.

Wild Unicorn

"You too!" Aurora replied cheerfully, and peered around Morion at his wings and tail. "Can you fly? Kia can't fly."

Kia grumbled, and picked up the over-curious girl. "Ok, Aurora... leave Morimori alone."

"I'm not annoying him!" Aurora protested, wriggling around in Kia's arms. She gave up though, she actually quite liked being held by her 'Mommy'.

Kia shifted her hold on Aurora, and shrugged at Morion. "No, it ok. We like good people having th... you can have a book, if you want? There lots of types around."

Cog blinked in surprise, then tried a careful, "Hello, who are you?" in English. He knew that some cogs didn't speak English, and this one might be the same?
Morion smiled at Aurora, nudging his glasses up a bit. "Yes, I can fly... though it took me quite a while to learn. I'm sure Kia will learn, too. Maybe I can help her, and then she can take you on flights." He gives Kia a wink, then walks over to the bookshelf and tilts his head down as he examines the titles along the old spines.

Quark's outer gears turn slowly and his center orb glows a bit brighter. He seems pleased to hear the speech. "Hello, my name is Quark," he answers in his genderless voice. Every word is very carefully pronounced. "I belong to Master Morion. Who are you?"

Wild Unicorn

"Maybe! Kia, you have to learn to fly, so we can go flying!" Aurora wriggled a bit till she was facing Kia, and poked at her gently. "This Dragon-Morion can teach you, did you hear?"

"Yes, I heard." Kia answered, and shrugged. "I love it if you helped me, Mori... Anen wants to help me too, I think."

She trailed off, watching him with the books. Kia hadn't been so interested in them, she couldn't read practically well yet, and some of them appeared to be very complex. Some of them were empty anyway, she'd seen no use for them.

"Hello Quark, my name is Cog." Cog replied, the center circle glowing like a lit gem. He shifted closer so that he could speak and hear, and continued, "I am Kia's familiar. Who do you take care of?"

Kia rolled her eyes, but didn't argue. Lately, her cog had been sure that it was his job to take care of her. He'd even decided to be 'male', just to enhance that role, as silly as it sounded to her.
