A great many things have happened which necessitate recording. I'm not sure of the date at the moment, but many days have passed since I last had a chance to record anything. As I am presently in a hurry, though, I shall be brief.
After leaving Nikoths, Corvus and I came to a giant windy plain. We became separated, but met again in a giant library which the winds of the plain led us to. My glasses became lost during my transportation from the plain to the library, and Corvus and I were trapped in a room full of hundreds of random books and an eerie wind. Wind, it seems, has been a recurring theme on this journey, which suits me fine.
We managed to escape with the help of a girl named Rose, whose age I liken to be about the same as my own physically apparent human age. Rose was in possession of a book: a living book, which she had designated "Blinky" for the large eye on the cover. The room we were trapped in was not in fact the main area of the library, but a sealed offshoot. We then began to explore the larger library, as Rose claimed there was an exit. After some searching, no exit was found. Corvus noticed a magical energy nearby and retrieved a book similar to Rose's in nature (though not apparently alive in the same sense as hers) as well as my glasses. We then located an exit, which took us here.
Here is somewhere in a mountainous region. Our immediate area is uninhabited. There is a rough sort of path leading up the mountainside. The book I found in the library contained an encoded message to travel to the top of the "Orthgoud Mountains," which I can only assume to be our present location. That being the case, I have decided to proceed up the path.
The exit to the library which was surely behind us mere minutes ago is gone. The only proof I have of the library's existence is the sleek black book filled with strange characters and encoded messages and this book, which, as it is blank, I have decided to use a journal to record events.
Now we must be going. I anticipate a long walk to the mountaintop, and don't want to arrive there after dark.
