This thread is to celebrate Summer, Gaia's Lake Kindred event, to obviously give some things away, and to gather attention/support for my charity. Some are more "important" than others, so at minimum, you'll be warned and then hosed out of the thread, and at worst, you could be reported to Gaia Staff.


  • Above all, follow Gaia's ToS and Rules & Guidelines.
  • No drama in my thread. Have fun!
  • While your grammar does not have to be perfect, ease up on the illiterate txt tlk.
  • Do not quote (entire) posts from the front page.
  • Keep quote towers small (cut off around 4 or 5?).
  • No mules!
  • DON'T steal the Summer graphics in this thread. See link towards end of page if you want them.
  • Each game will have different rules. Be sure to follow them.
  • If you win an RNG or Dice game, PM me with a link/page number so that I can confirm your win. Good idea is to send multiple wins in one PM if you want to spare my Inbox and group your raffle numbers together. If you don't PM me, you won't get your winnings!
  • To ensure you read the thread rules at least, please PM me the phrase "Warming up for Summer" at some point. You will not receive any winnings until you do so.
  • All prizes will be sent at the close of the event. I will be keeping a running total on all participants.
  • At this time, gold earned is unlimited. If participants seem to be getting really high because the Kindred is event is going on forever, I may put on a cap later.
  • NEW! All contests close on Thursday, August 20th, @ 10pm GMT - 8 / Pacific Time. Slots and winnings for those that have not "claimed" them will be removed at that time. Raffle for Hair will happen within a few days and all prizes sent out soon after.

Get creative and come up with a theme and matching Gaia items for me to use in my charity. Each month, I give away some items that fit with a particular theme, and I'd like some more themes to consider. Problem is that there are so many items on Gaia - more so every week! - that I haven't been able to keep up with everything. XD

Please quote me (NOT THIS WHOLE POST!) or PM me (with an appropriate title) with a specific theme and a list of items that in some way match that theme. See game-specific rules for more details.

Holidays, seasons, colors, animals, songs, emotions, fashion... themes are only limited by your imagination!


Prizes
    ☼ Every "qualifying" list will get gaia_gaiagold 10 mil (up to 50m per person!) and 1 raffle slot.
    ☼ My favorite will get a choice of User Image or User Image (the other will be put into the raffle) and 5 raffle slots.
    ☼ My 2nd favorite will get a exclaim surprise item worth around 250m and 3 raffle slots.
    ☼ My 3rd favorite will get gaia_gaiagold 100 mil and 1 raffle slot.


Game-specific Rules
  • Post entries by quoting me or PM them with a title (so I know what it is).
  • Each person may make up the 5 lists/themes.
  • Must list at least 3 Gaia items (w/links to Marketplace), but no more than 10.
  • Items should have a "worth" between about 10 mil and 2 bil. I like to have one or 2 in the higher range of "worth", 1 or 2 less than 100m, and the rest floating in the middle somewhere. As long as they're not all worth 2b, any varying range of worths will work.
  • Items do not have to be limited to human avatars or equippables. [Animal], house, game, etc can be included.
  • No, you are not buying or giving me the items. You're just giving me ideas that I may use later.

Rules
  • Earn slots by playing the games in the posts above.
  • You can buy up to 5 slots each day for 1m each. Send a labeled trade "Raffle".
  • Slots are assigned as they are won or as trades are completed. You cannot pick which number(s) you want.
  • Number of over-all slots are unlimited.
  • Number of slots per person are only limited by how many you can buy/win from each individual game. (Each day, you can buy 5, win 5 from RNG, 5 from Dice, and then possibly win some from the Quote, Page, or Theme games.)
  • One prize per person. Rules will change if there are more prizes than participants though so that all Hairs are given out.
  • An order of winners will be created using RNG at close of event. First will get their top choice from the list, second will get next pick, and so on.
  • I will quote winners, and they will need to make a choice within a few days or they'll be bumped further down the list.
  • Read through the thread rules if you want to claim/keep your slots!
