First off, I want to start off with saying that EVERYONE is welcome to an opinion regarding this unpleasant discovery.

However, backlash against specific artists and users is completely intolerable, and I want to be sure every measure is taken to focus on what is HIGHLY UNLIKELY to happen rather than the messengers delivering the news. In a series of profile comment exchanges, the reality is this: plot is not likely to extend to Halloween and less is to be expected.

Do not think that your opinion doesn't hold merit due to x, y, or z. It matters.

The real question is what, are we as users going to do about it?

Do we think that anything can be done?

Can we make a big of a fuss as E-Corp did in dragging attention back to the plot?

AND IF YOU THINK WE ARE RIDICULOUS....

IDEAS FOR ACTION

....some may be more serious than others

✖Hassli---force everyone to pay attention via diedrich mascot
✖Pie: Plotober, make October Plot Awareness Month, essentially
✖Yeata Zi: E-Corp Reboot, Plot Style

Pick an item to represent our plight.

For E-Corp, this was teh Bani mask. I think to do this we would want to have a symbol we could all wear to show our support, not just the nx and Gaia pins that separate us, but I'm not sure what it would be. Maybe the tiny airship from DC?

anon gifts in the theme of our cause.
We could rework this to link to this thread. We sent these gifts to everyone in the GCD, and to most staff members. They would have to fit the theme as well, but perhaps not be so expensive. We could have a lot of fun with this and use the gifts to link back here.

Avatar Arena Group Entries
To bring awareness to parts of Gaia that didn't know of the plight. The first one we all wore basically the same avatar.

We came up with plot related questions to ask during AtA
I'm not sure what a good replacement for this would be. Perhaps letter writing campaigns to specific staff members? We would have to be careful with this because we wouldn't want them to be annoyed

I think an Arena Takeover would be interesting for awareness, for the Original Avatar side it could be plot related characters and such (like Hassli's Diedrich takeover) and we can use the Art Arena for fancomics or other various things There's also the writing arena where we can post poems about the Plot.

Ok, ok. I have an idea.

We all dress like Diedrich until the plot is saved. NO EXCEPTIONS. Everyone in a Diedrich mascot suit.

This will annoy everyone so much that they will have to give us what we want!

AND! It will bring me great happiness.

It might be fun to do theme days where we post in solidarity, wearing the same avatar or avatars in a theme.

One day could be Diedrich Mascot day.
