Hello, hello! A warm welcome to you. Pockettu is a Breedables/Changeable shop and we are looking for some new colorists to add to the team! If you are not familiar with our shop, please head on over to our main thread for more information:

Our goal with this hiring thread is to find some new colorists who we think would be a great addition to the team. Key highlights as to what we are looking for are:

* Active - we want you around the shop and socializing with regulars and newbies alike!
* Responsible - we expect you to know your work limits and to be able to manage your work load in a timely manner.
* Friendly - make people feel welcomed and stay true to our goal of making a friendly B/C community! 8'3

C O L O R I S T S

Information
* Knowledge of editing and shading is NOT require for color only colorists. We have stock bases. However to become an editing colorist you must know how to both edit and shade from scratch. Minor editing colors are allowed but you must be able to match the shading template's style provided.

* You must be creative. While not every Pockettu needs fancy designs we are not looking for basic colors either.

* You must be friendly and able to work with others.

* You must be able to complete things in a reasonable time, know your own work limits, etc. We are not here to hold your hand.

* If you want to be hired - stick around. We are NOT hiring anyone who posts an application and runs. And only apply is you're serious about applying.

* We will most likely refuse anyone who works in other shops right now. One other shop is fine but a lot of our colorists work elsewhere and their time has been eaten up by the other shops lately. We would like to give Pockettu some little tlc <3

Payment

Colorists keep 100% of all profits they make. They are free to do pet trades as they please so long as it's fair (cosplay for cosplay, edited for edited, etc, etc).

To apply for part time / color only please complete the following:

* Color up two examples using the template provided to the left.

* Do not make "twins". I want to see two different sets of markings / colors.

* If you want to be allowed to do minor edits, please provide an additional sample showing your minor editing skills~

* No cosplays or OCs allowed.

IF HIRED, Monthly Requirements are as followed:

* Four [unedited] Pockettu colored a month.

* At least two customs or breedings completed every other month.

To apply for full time / editing colorist please complete the following:

* Color up one example using the template above to show that you can color things for flat sales.

* Provide two examples of your edited work using the base to the left. Please SHADE them as well. Yes - you're required to know how to shade for this task!

* NO cosplays or OCs!

* You cannot edit the base so much that we don't know what is. You must still be able to tell it's a pockettu!

* Yes you can make girls! The bases are not gender specific.

* At least four customs or breedings completed every month.

Previous B/C Experience?: Most recently, I've been a certist for some colorists at FaeKats, and a racial colorist there. Previous to that, I've worked at MLP, Owned/Colored at Whimsicals... and other places I'm forgetting cause it's been a while

How often are you on Gaia?: At least once a day on my phone, however, to be on a computer I visit the library once a week, which is how I would be doing any uploads.

Previous B/C Experience?: Guest colored at Fox Sushi- including edited pets, co-owner at Cosmotropolis, guest color at The Moombi, Owner of Furry Flower Drinks (old and scary since it was my first shop....dont look, its hideous haha)
Current B/C Jobs: None right now

Why do you want to work here?: I want to color something that people will like and enjoy, and without having internet at home to give away freebie pets I colored on lines I own, I can no longer do this as easily. (Having an established shop thread helps, but I never set up a shop for the freebies I would pass out.) I feel as a part time colorist, I can once again color pets people will be able to enjoy, while also doing something with my time at home that doesn't involve a game controller. xP

A little belated festivities, but these Pockettu Generals have been hiding from Acy for awhile now. She finally managed to snag them and place them on the shelves to find a good home. Yet they're tricky little ones and want to see the world. So help them by spreading the word about our hiring thread!

Are we only allowed to draw and color the base, so like just add clothing to it and thats it for the whole auction? Sorry never really done something like this.

Hi there! Thank you for showing interest but we are not an auction. We are a breedables / changables shop. Here at Pockettu we are looking for people who are able to color pets for others to own. Whether it just be unedited pets or edited ones. If you're new to the B/C world I recommend checking out this thread here as it has loads of helpful information and may help you better understand the B/C forums!
