Story
Say the tale of Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files took place not in the 90's, as was told, but much more recently. Say that Yusuke Urameshi's legacy has only ended a few years ago. Now, in modern day, demons are free go come and go (providing they abide by certain laws) between their world and ours.
Although originally the dimensional rift only existed in Japan Koenma, prince of the Reikai, has, in the past month, expanded the demon's access to America in very small numbers. To help keep an eye on these demons, however, Koenma has assigned a small task force, of specially-powered humans, spirits, and morally-proven demons to patrol the boarders and chase down any illegal visitors.

Across the globe, the retired Yusuke Urameshi and his old team hear about Koenma's bold step towards human/apparition coexistence. Although things have been going relatively well in Japan's (doubtful) cohabitation with a strange new group of people called "Youkai" (who have, on occasion, been reported preforming super-human feats), surprise still runs through the group at the speed at which Koenma is integrating the two previously separated groups. Could the child god just be rushing, or does he have a reason behind breaking down America's Kekai barrier?
Koenma has currently planned a meeting between Japan's Rekai Tantei and the Amercia's Task Force to occur in two week's time on Japanese soil. Now, in the mean time, the Task Force must be introduced to each other and become a team in less than two weeks.
