Both of them are battle-hardened warriors. They're veterans at what they do. They know their way around the battlefield, they're great at hand to hand combat, the works. Both of them also deal with PTSD in different ways -- Snake has nightmares of the incident, Samus is directly triggered at one point and goes into a full-blown flashback and represses her trauma.
So, they get each other. They understand each other. Snake can be a bit of an a*****e at times, but he normally means well. Samus can be closed-up and snippy, but she's not used to letting people in.
They tend to hear each other out often, or comfort each other from time to time. Being a warrior is hard.
Listen to the
codec calls. He's got it bad, man.
- Snake is usually the one to initiate the conversations, and is always the one to start the playful/flirty banter.
- Samus is incredibly reserved in public due to not wanting to show any weakness, but is more receptive to affection in private.
- Samus is still incredibly disbelieving of the cardboard box because how the hell would that help you hide? Snake attempts to show her from time to time, but she doesn't buy it. This breaks his heart. (I WOULD RLY LIKE THIS PLZ)
- She has very little tolerance for his bullshit and is quick to call him out on his ********. Snake isn't fazed by this one bit.
- They're awesome combat buddies, and when sparring, they tend to go overboard and go on power trips to show who's better.
- Snake often has nightmares about the Shadow Moses incident (canon), and the only one he can truly turn to if it REALLY gets to him is Samus. Vise versa for her own trauma. They comfort each other often (as mentioned in info).
- SINCE THIS IS CHEEB fluff is gr8 ; v;///
