8/13/12: Post your price for the following concept: The viewpoint for the piece will be over the shoulder of a cop with his ticketbook in hand, looking into the window of a disgruntled motorist's vehicle. I picture the motorist with disheveled hair and a trucker hat pulled down low. Wifebeater shirt. Maybe some tattoos. Anyway, make it clear that there is a large fine on the ticket being written. The ticket should be signed (by the issuing officer) with a heart. I want the scene of the man in the car to be gritty, grainy, ugly, while the foreground of the cop's ticketbook to be kidsy, bright and ironically sweet. Somewhere on the picture should be the band's name, "Corpse Forest," as well as the album title, "Cops Love Me." Make sure the image is square so it will suffice for an album cover.

What's up people!? Thanks for stopping by my art request. This one's a little special. You see, I am part of a new hardcore / death metal band in the Baton Rouge area. We just recorded our first demo, played our first show, and we are making our first t-shirts now. We're what you call a newborn baby band. If you want to check us out, we are called Corpse Forest! Not interested in anime etc. More interested in design oriented art.
Post here or message me if you will help. Primarily looking for banners at the moment.
Anyway, to accompany our br00tal muzaks, we would like some art. If you checked out the link above, you'll see that our facebook is pretty plain. Soooo..... starting with that, art that we would like to see includes:
- Facebook covers (banner thingy)
- Neat logos (for flyers, patches, buttons, whatever)
- Album art (note: our demo, "Cops Love Me" has sold a few copies sans album art, but albums in the future may use art acquired at this auction)
- T-shirt designs (preferably one or two colors, here, folks)
Anything we use publicly will include a credit to the artist. Just message us whether you prefer your gaia username or your "real" name.
For purposes of this forum, request, website, we will be paying only gaia gold. There should be no confusion that any U.S. Dollars we make selling products with your art will go to the band coffers, with no monetary royalties. We just aren't that huge of a band. If you're expecting MONEY, and not GAIA GOLD, you're in the wrong place.
With all that out the way, just post here with examples and/or prices you expect and I'll get to you as soon as possible.
