This is a charity that is sometimes a charity and, for the rest of the time,
just a place to hang out and make friends.

Why, you might ask? Because we're not famous people on Gaia
that have money rolling in like snowflakes on Christmas day
or have the time (or want to spend the time, really) to make ridiculous
amounts of gold for ridiculous amounts of prizes all day every day.

Now, that's not to say we won't have ridiculously awesome prizes,
but give us some time between shifts of awesomeness and we'll prove you wrong.

Everyone is always welcome. No applications or entrance fees required!

When you are looking at a thread that deals with items or money
you need to have rules in order to keep things from falling apart.
We love you, but we don't want to get mobbed and we want to
be able to keep everything straight and organized. Otherwise we
shall tear our hair out.

For Donating
+ All transactions must go to the charity mule (TSBNAC)
unless they are personal donations for the admins
+ Do not send a trade to any of the staff members here
to donate to the thread, or we will assume it's for us.
+ If you want to donate directly to anyone in the thread, please do so!

For Recieving
+ Do not post your dream avi/quest/link to your quest thread here asking for help.
+ People who receive items or gold will be picked at random (outside of contests).
+ You do not need a quest thread to get a donation.
+ Do not complain about the donation you receive, we give according to activity and what we have.
+ Art quests are welcomed here as well, not just item/gold quests!

Here is a list of things the charity is trying to get.
This will change regularly so keep checking back!

Items we will take/are looking for:
anything unwanted
tickets
gift boxes (blue, brown, pink, etc.)
chests (the mysterious ones you get, not your body)

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

That's right, The Sometimes But Not Always Charity is looking to fund a 5 million (yes, that's 5,000,000) gold quest.
This quest can be for an item, avi, gold, or anything else you can think of.
Whoever is funded will be receiving the gold pure to use as he or she wishes.

How it will be funded:
50% Raffle
50% Out of Pocket from TSBNAC

Selecting a Funded Quester
You must have posted at least 50 times in the charity to be eligible to become a funded quester.
If you are new to the thread, please number each of your posts or it won't count toward your 50.

Fill out this application and send it in a labeled PM to our trusty mule, TSBNAC.

How to Earn Points

RNG
Quote our trusty mule, TSBNAC, and generate a random number 1-10.
Whatever number you generate is equal to the points you receive.
This can only be done once a day.

Dice Roll
Roll 10 dice that are 10-sided.
Roll something below 20 and get 100 points.
Roll 35 and get 20 points.
Roll 50 and get 2 points.
Roll 69 and get 8 points.
Roll 75 and get 20 points.
Roll something in the 90s and get 100 points.
PM that post to our trusty mule, TSBNAC, titled "Dice Points."
This contest can be won only 10 times every 24 hours.
Whatever time that is from your first win the previous day, then you can start rolling again.
You can't roll for a new win until your first one resets.

The person you refer must quote our trusty mule, TSBNAC, and post at least five times for you to receive credit.
This contest is all day, every day unless stated other wise here.
