Welcome to The Gourmet Pocky Shoppe's Halloween '11 Event!

A bit behind on schedule, though that seems to be normal for the Halloween event. emotion_sweatdrop Can't miss Halloween, it's a TGPS custom! (and yet there aren't any customs this time...)

As usual, there are two auctions, this year brings you Witch's Brew, who is totally not a trap... and Blackberry Catnip, a very mischievous kitty! And a free event which I haven't gotten the details put together yet, for Barmbrack! (A traditional Irish Halloween food.)

There will also be an advertising contest, but it is still a bit in the works, so that will hopefully go up later soon.

o1. Read all the rules first. In this thread and the main thread.
o2. No stealing art. All art belongs to the respective artist (i.e. Mystaira) and owner.
o3. Be nice to be people and don't discourage people or flame. Not fun if you are mean, and we'd like to keep a friendly atmosphere here.
o4. Have fun. Always best to have fun and enjoy yourself!
o5. Please do not PM Mystaira about the shoppe. If you have any questions, please ask them in the thread or PM the mule if necessary.

:: Auction Rules ::

o1. Read all the rules in the main shop thread so you understand them before entering.
o2. By bidding you are agreeing to all ownership rules and guidelines and promise to care for the pocky boy for as long as you are its owner.
o3. Use the format provided to bid, otherwise your bid will not count. Please post bids in the thread.
o4. Do not bid what you do not have. Please do not bid gold if you are planning to liquidate items for the gold if you win. Likewise, please do not bid items and then liquidate them. What you bid is what you will pay.
o5. No withdrawing bids. It gets very confusing.
o6. Certain items are allowed - Collectible letters and items, certain cash shop items (please inquire if an item is acceptable. certain evolving items are more preferable to others), certain other expensive items may be accepted (again, please ask if it is acceptable). Items are accepted at 5% below lowest Market Prices. Items must be valued at least 100k for lowest Market Price.
o7. You may only participate if you either have no pocky boys, or if all your current pocky boys have at least reached the Child stage (and you must be active in the shop(If you show up and the response is something like 'Whoa! Long time no see!', you probably aren't active...). However, you may not try for more if you already have 2 pocky boys at the child stage (pocky bishies do not count towards the 2 pocky boy limit).
o8. The winner(s) have 48 hours to send the trade after they are announced. (An exception may be made if you are going to be away at that time if you inform us)
o9. Theres is a 20 minute snipe guard. If there is a bid within the last 30 minutes of the auction, the auction will be extended to 20 minutes past the last bid.
1o. Proxies are allowed, as long as the person you are proxy-ing for has either already bid or has expressed interest in bidding in the thread.

:: Contest Details ::
Barmbrack is a sweet bread that is part of a Irish Halloween tradition that involves fortunetelling. Various charms are baked into the bread and when the bread is sliced up an served everyone gets a charm. The charms placed in Barmbrack are a ring, symbolizing that they will be wedded within year. A coin to symbol good fortune or wealth. A pea, symbolizing that they wouldn't marry that year. A cloth or rag to symbolize poor luck or poverty. And a stick to symbolize a poor marriage. But in this case, the stick does not symbolize a poor marriage! Besides not being a very fun outcome, this fortunetelling involves a different kind of stick... A Pocky Stick!

The contest is simple and free, and rather resembles a raffle... Everyone who wants to participate must post asking for a slice of the Barmbrack.

Ring :: The one to receive the ring will be married! ... Okay I can't promise that, but if you ever have a Pocky Bishie, when I actually put up Pocky 'breeding' (which will probably be later on when we have a few more bishies, or at least some in relationships) and your Pocky Bishie has a SO then you may receive a slot for free.
Coin :: Whomever receives the coin shall get 100k gold. (or, alternatively for the good fortune aspect, if you have a pocky boy you may have this coin count as a completed playdate.)
Pea :: Forever alone! ... Or... Something...
Cloth :: The receiver of the cloth will receive 1 gold.
