Welcome to The Attack of Love Charity. A little bit of history: In January of 2008 The Attack of Love Charity was born with the mission to swiftly giving as many gaians gold as possible. After nearly 200 Recipients the charity reached an apex. Where once we moved ten pages or more a day we reached a point where we barely moved one. It wasnt fun anymore. Something Had to be done.

On July 18, 2009 Nearly one and a half years after the birth of the charity it was reborn with a new mission. The mission was to have fun and build a community. The longer you stayed the more gold you got. I had found I got much more satisfaction donating to friends then to strangers. I declared come, stay, chat, have fun, and lets get this party started.

On Friday May 21, 2010 that dream came to an end and I left gaia. I had made amazing friends here, many of whom I still chat too daily on facebook, text, and in real life when I can! Unfortunately many of them had also abandoned gaia at this point making it difficult for me to even want to stay.

Since then I have logged on occasionally, hoping something would catch my eye and get me to stay but to no avail. I lurked in the forums, ninjaed around dropping gold to friends and people who would say hello (So few people these days say hello...). Unfortunately there was not one thing that could get me back.

February 2011 I returned for a fleeting moment. This thread was born and with a lot of help from some wonderful people It got pretty far but as people wondered off I once more realized that I couldn't make this happen alone.

February 2014 its day four of my journey back once more. I am probably way to old for this but somehow many of my old friends have wondered back. I also realize that I have a lot of gold and need something to bump so lets see. Maybe this old place can have some life

2-15-2014 Is currently in the process of trying to merge the AoL with the DMC. The Sexing closet has been installed in taz's thread but maybe we can get her to bring it and the DMC here.

3. Obey all gaia rules and TOS's
4. Follow the guidelines in the guidelines post about donations to get a donation.
5. Do not beg or advertise. If you would like to link swap or something please pm me.
6. Disable all "post styles" that contain advertisements or begging. (this includes only things within a post. Sigs are excluded)
7. Since I'm dictating content now. A while back someone came into a thread of mine with racial/bigoted remarks in there sig. I kindly ask you to disable sigs such as that. If you refuse i will be forced to ban you. I believe in free speech but i also believe that no one should feel intimidated.
8. Feel free to pm me with any questions but do not beg. (please contact Lord_LHUSID2)
9. Please do not be grammar/spelling nazi's I will have to ask you to leave if you go over board. If i misspelled something on the front page let me know in a considerate way and I'll be more then happy to fix it. I have had bad experiences with grammar/spelling nazi's.
10. I do not have to donate to you. So please don't give me a reason not to D;
11. I reserve the right to add onto these rules at any time.

Thread Code of Conduct

There has in the past been several instances of established regulars, crew, and even at times newbies to the thread reacting to gaians who do not follow the rules in an overly negative way. This will not be tolerated. If anyone feels belittled or attacked whether new or old , listed or not, immediately contact me and i will deal with it. I have been in charities a long time and i understand that there are plenty of charities out there full of assholes who wont give you a second chance. I believe that I am here to help people and to guide people along and if that means reminding people to do something then i am quiet capable of typing. I implore all people entering this thread to extend everyone the same courtesy and to understand that i will maintain and strictly enforce an attitude of helping as many people as i can and rejecting no one unless all other options are exhausted.

Okay Ladies and Gentlemen this is how this place works.

1. You arn't required to RP but you are required to talk.
2. Everyone in the thread is important so please try not leave anyone hanging
3. The Bar is run by Tika ( [Ra!nbow_Sharp!e]) wander over there, get a drink, and sit down on a stool or something.
4. The dance floor is open to everyone so feel free to dance. Contests will be posted on an ongoing basis.
5. The lounge is up on the second floor where the owner (Lhusid) Likes to hang out. Head that way and chat with him.
6. The "Sexing Closet" is for VIP's. Hang around and you could be there too!
7. If you have a quest thread be sure to pm Lord_Lhusid the banners/links so it can be posted on the restroom wall (for patrons) or the other links area for everyone else. Please, to help decrease an ever downward page stretching, try to send the smallest banner you can muster. We will, however, never deny any reasonably sized banner.
8. If you don't have a thread just hang out and someone else will ask you what you are questing. Don't go around and tell us in the thread. We will ask!
9. If you hang out and talk to people and enjoy yourself you will be added to the bar or patrons list. This is good news towards getting a donation.
10. Not a rule but Jake LOVES signs and art >..> hint hint

Reminder

All contests not actively being worked by an individual are subject to change for that individual. All winners whom win before a change will receive the original prize expected. Only future winners will be awarded the new value. For the bump contest gaians whom are working towards a goal level will be eligible for the original prize they expected when starting that level but subject to the changes in future levels. Example: If a gaian is on bump 201 and therefore working towards the goal of 300, and the prize for 300 is lowered, the gaian will be eligible for the original prize but subject to the changed prizes after bump 300. Each bump level is therefore considered its own individual contest.
