        ♥ Welcome to Sarumoki! This is the only shop (to my knowledge) on gaia to sell sea monkeys! These are not the sea monkeys of yonder year...oh no. I found these little things while exploring the ocean, all sorts of displaced. The Isle of Sa'rumoki has only just been discovered (by me, naturally), and due to human pollution the sea monkeys are willing to partner up and clean their island!

Sea Monkeys are currently known to have three stages of growth. They are a very hardy creature and can generally grow without much aid.
        ♥ Stages
            ⇢ Bag Most Monkeys come into my possession in this stage of life. The color outside the bag generally indicates the color of the monkey inside, with a few being highly decorated special monkeys.
            ⇢ Baby After a little while, the tiny monkey feels comfortable enough in it's new home to emerge from the bag and explore. The baby does not know many words, and has a distinct pattern and personality. The baby is still completely aquatic at this stage, and cannot leave the habitat.
            ⇢ Adult The monkey has now reached it's final stage of development. It can breed with other monkeys, communicate effectively, and even don clothes. They are amphibious at this point, and can now explore!

        ♥ Characteristics
            ⇢ Behavior They have very distinct personality types and can interact in all the ways humans can, including talking. They are usually quite sociable, so try to get them out once in a while!
            ⇢ Colors Monkeys come in all colors of the rainbow, but it is more common to find a vibrantly colored one rather than a pastel of some sort.
            ⇢ Patterns Usually monkeys are one color; with a darker version of their base color as a pattern. Recently though, due to the pollution, some bi-color and even tri-color monkeys have started appearing! Keep your eyes peeled!
            ⇢ Gender These creatures have no discernible gender that I can find. Some act male, some act female, and some just act like monkeys. They don't reproduce sexually, so this isn't a problem. It's just weird.

        ♥ Custom sea monkeys are generally available when I have time to dally in the genetic engineering required for such a task. This is not often, and generally happens about once a month, if not less. This is a very difficult process, and since the monkeys are so small I can't really do much with them. I can make any color of monkey you'd like (be it a hex value or from a picture), but there are only a few mutations I have yet decoded. Other mutations will be added as I figure them out, but for now this is all I can do. If you have the money, of course, I can make accommodations.

        ♥ Journals are a place for extra storage, badges, and other recording things. You are not required to have a journal, although it is recommended if you do want extra storage, more shells, and the ability to do quests and gain achievements. There is no "official" journal, but there [will be] a guide in the journal section of the guild with some formatting examples. The only requirements are places to put your storage and badges.

            ⇢ Shells are the sea monkeys form of currency. It's quite difficult to find a full, unbroken, pink scallop so they are very valuable indeed. Shells can be used to purchase special items in the guild that aren't available regularly for gold. To get shells, you can complete quests or achievements or trade things with other users in the Classified section. Shells are stored in the Bank in order to keep them from being broken.

            ⇢ Badges can be earned by doing quests or hitting certain achievement marks. Most of these will be listed in the guild, but some will be secret. Some quests will require items (such as a bug catching net) which can only be purchased with shells. Achievements are given out for various benchmarks, most of which are listed in the guild!

            ⇢ Closet Space is to be used to store extra items that do not fit in your monkey's cert. It comes in any color you like, but default is your monkey's cert color. Please request a closet in the Journal Request thread in the Journal sub-forum of the Guild.

        ♥ The Breeding Guide
            ⇢ Only two adult sea monkeys may produce offspring.
            ⇢ One to four bags can be produced in a breeding, though there have been documented cases of more.
            ⇢ Packets are 5000g, or 2500g per owner.
            ⇢ Breeding is not limited to being between a male and a female, since sea monkeys breed by secreting a chemical and rubbing up on each other, and it's really rather disgusting so I won't go into it.
            ⇢ Generally speaking, breeding doesn't occur between the colors of sea monkeys, but that has more to do with differences in natural habitat than anything else. Offspring between two different colors will be either one color or the other, with a hybrid being produced very rarely.
            ⇢ Twins are known to occur, but it isn't apparent until the baby stage.
            ⇢ You may choose to do what you wish with the bags - be that keep them all, keep only one, or keep none. If you decide not to keep some, you may give them to someone else, hold a contest of some sort for them (free, of course), or give them back to me to be raffled off.
            ⇢ To actually breed, the monkeys go into a special habitat and I sprinkle a special powder to help get the love mood going. This isn't always needed though - some monkeys spontaneously breed! They have to be bonded though - which is an arduous process at best. If you have a bonded pair (or half of one) keep an eye out for bags!
