Perhaps this contest will inspired you to join whether it is because of the avatars or the characters' storyline that interested you.

Be sure to have lots of fun drawing these characters or because of the prizes!

Even if you can't draw characters/people, there are other prizes that you can win!

This contest is open to ALL artists, including people drawing, pixel art, building architecture, room interior / exterior designers, car designers, and engineering skills.
There is a possible writing contest too if there are enough interest
You can simple tell people about this contest and if they enter you can win prizes too!

Don't quote posts on the first page.

Don't steal any artwork nor these characters. Many have put effort and work in creating them. These characters belong to us. Art works belong to their respective artist.

Previously commissioned or given art can not be submitted as an entry to this contest.

There is no limit to the amount of entries one can submit.

No limit to the number of prizes single artist can win. But only one piece of art is only eligible for one prize. So the more art you enter, the better your chances of getting more prizes!
But quality > quantity is more preferable

Artist’s signature must not overlap the characters and must be signed at a less noticeable spot.

Watermark can be shown to the public but the entry must have an unwatermarked version via PM. Watermark entries are not consider submission to the contest.

By submitting your entry, you grant us full rights of usage how we see fit for private and personal use only. These rights would include using it in our posts, profiles, re-size art, place within our storybook, making thumbnails that are linked to the full view artwork, and private purposes. Art will remain exactly in its original state and all credit(s) will go to the artist(s).

We are not responsible of the market value of the prizes when awarding them.

We reserve the right to extend the contest if necessary such as the minimum entries not being met.

Entries must be your original work.

No photo manipulations

No art with little to no effort behind the work

All traditional work must NOT be done on lined paper

Work in progress must be submitted along with entry.
( Hint: you can use the sketch/line art to submit as entry for the sketch and line art categories. So it’s the best interest for you to actually submit a work in progress. More chances for you to win.)

Collaborative works are allowed but works must be credited as who has done the lines or coloring. Only the submitting artist will get the prize. The winner will have to decide how to split the prize.

Pixel art/dolls must be done from bases that submitters created.

All entries must be scanned instead of taken a picture with a camera. Exception can be made regarding size of canvas.

Scanned entries must be clear without any gray areas.

DO NOT write our names in your artwork.
If wanting to credit the characters do so for the following
Queen character is credited to conquestfrontier
Carmen characters are credited to Crimson Carmen
Princess characters are credited to either conquestfrontier OR Crimson Carmen. You only can credit one username that is it.

For most categories all art MUST be colored and shaded!

For most categories all art MUST be at least knee up. This is due to the dresses that most characters wear going down to their shoes.

Do not feel bound by them since they are meant as general references. This is not only an avatar art contest but also an OC contest. So you are more then happy to alter and tinker outfits. But do not alter to the point that we can no longer recognize our characters such as being the queen or the princess of royalty.

The roses come with the eye poses that we are unable to take off. You can draw the roses as background though.

Artist MUST choose only one category that his/her entry feels best to fit in.
This is to give artist to focus on his/her greatest strength.
For example, yes artist can draw the character in sexy lingerie such as the Young Mrs. Claus' Bustier or Young Mrs. Claus' Flirty Top for Christmas theme but will the artist choose/focus on the Best Sexiest / Hottest / Suggestive or Best Christmas category? Only you can decide as artist.

Artist may pm us to ask for critiques to improve chance on winning. Everyone can do this so it is consider fair. You don’t want to end up working on something that disqualifies you.
Don't let that happen to you. So ASK us about the ideas you have! We can help!


-----Conditions

-The queen and the bodyguard cannot be drawn together

-There is an age different when the queen and the princess is drawn together. Remember the princess must be under 10 years old and the queen must be between 30 to 45. So factor height in as well.

- The maximum age of the princess for this contest is under 20 years old.

-The body guard should be older then the princess but can be looking like a young adult.

-Do not draw the roses behind the princess' and queen's head. You can draw them as background though

-The demon outfit must have the heartbreak hammer

-The rockstar outfit must have the heartbreak hammer's guitar pose

For example the princess uses her umbrella as a weapon when she gets attacked. Artists can decide how umbrella is being used like a sword, a club, etc.

The artist that can draw the most angst piece.
Scene is about the queen in her private chamber writing a letter before she leaves it in an envelope and places it into the tome. Artist must convey the emotion felt by the queen either before, during, or after her ultimate decision to abandon her daughter.
Another possible scene is when the queen takes the crown off her head and leaves it on the desk showing she is no longer the ruler anymore.

Scene is about the princess being in her mother’s chamber. After reading the letter from the tome, she has her outburst in which she wreaks her mother’s room. The letter, the envelope, the tome, and the mother’s crown are left untouched.
The princess is not wearing the crown and she is in her sleep wears.

Life as a Bodyguard is never easy. Show us the various skills Carmen has to do to make sure the princess stays safe!

Non-character drawing contests

Artist must create a symbol that represents the kingdom and its ideals.
This kingdom was founded based on mining of metal. Even with all the advances of technological researches and world changes in the future such as extracting other raw materials such as water, gems, oil, lost artifacts and etc, the royal family never had forgotten its roots which the founders were once just like the common folks being farmers and doing hard labors. The family members knew not to take anything for granted and they must work for their keeps just like any regular people. Because they have high social class does not mean they are any better then the commoners. The royal members earn their place by their merit and self-reliance. They will do what is right not necessary taking the easy way out when faced with a problem.

Note: Exotic colors cannot be use for the symbol.

Abilities: Seemingly latent but very powerful telekinetic abilities. Also has magical abilities.

Weaknesses: emotional stress that can trigger her telekinesis. The ability often leaves her physically drained.

Pros: She has a superior sense of right from wrong and believes in preventing a problem before it starts. She also believes in swift justice and decisive action, but cares a great deal about her people and their well being. Having strong family values, she also believes strongly in equality. She admires her mother greatly and aspires to be like her. She’s not afraid to stand up for herself.

Cons: She can be a little bit extreme in her measures to solve problems and while quick and decisive, her solutions are not always seen in a positive light by all. Her bad family life has given her a somewhat negative view of the world outside the castle. These views have made her hesitant to lead and insecure that she can turn things around. In a way, she believes the world deserves the fate it has brought upon itself.

Bio: She grew up amongst a corrupt family. Her mother tried her best to raise the family well, but it just didn’t work out. When her older siblings failed the test to rule, her father disappeared. Her siblings ran away as they each failed in turn.

Her mother took to spending a lot of time with her and her brother, training them and preparing them, pinning her hopes on them to take the crown. She surpassed her brother in all respects..

Finally, her mother left them all as well. The youngest brother failed the test. One day, she too touched the tome that would test her ability to rule. Memories flooded into her mind, causing an emotional stress that brought out her latent telekinetic abilities.

Even so, she passed the test and struggled to take her crown. She has worked hard to keep her country from breaking down from the inside out, tackling seemingly impossible tasks to try and turn things around.

Unfortunately, not all agreed with her and there have been attempts on her life. She uses whatever tactics she deems necessary to work for what she believes in, even if they are on the questionable side like what she did when she was thirteen years old.

Pros: She is a very good hearted person who tends to put others before herself. She believes very much in the well being of her people and wishes to restore the royal family to its former glory. She does not believe in living in excess, and tends to be fairly humble and modest. She is very kind hearted and giving. There is much she would do and much she would give up for the well being of her family. She has a strong set of morals and doesn’t live the high life as might be expected of her.

Cons: Her own innocent and kind hearted nature blinds her to the corrupt and decadent lifestyle her children adopt. Only to late does she realize and her efforts to correct the problem fail. She is generally mild mannered and does not let her anger show by much even when extremely angry. As such, she is unable to correct her children’s behaviors, which causes her much grief and sadness.

Bio: When she was young, her family went to their private island for a relaxing vacation away from the busy royal life. While on vacation, there was a violent attack and she was the only survivor.

The event destabilized her magic core and she spent many months in a coma until it could be stabilized enough for her to survive. Recovery was extensive and took a long time due to the severe nature of her injuries. During her recovery, corruption in the government soared.

When she was old enough, she married into a powerful merchant family in order to attempt to restore the royal family. While he was in no way a neglectful husband, he thought little of women and believed they had little or no business in positions of power. Though they had a happy marriage, he had little regard for his daughters and placed emphasis on his sons.

As her children grew, she tried to raise them right, to have morals, and to be good rulers. Unfortunately, they were led down a dark path and she realized only too late. Despite her immense efforts, changes were not made. Things only seemed to get worse.

Child after child failed the test to become the next ruler and for her, things spiraled downhill. She focused her efforts on the youngest two children, but in the end, the situation was overwhelming. She felt all she could do was leave.

Abilities: Is very strong and can lift weight of a ton. Resistant to magic. Can transform herself into anybody, can possess living and inanimate objects.

Weaknesses: is weak against holy and blessed weapons. also weak at people who have strong wills

Pros: Can do various tasks that are hazardous to a human’s well being like assassination and surviving a collapse building.

Cons: She is hothead and does lots of collateral damage for a simple task.

Bio: Carmen grew up in the demon world where the rules of the law were simple might was right and take what you want from the weak. Being summoned again and again by various stupid people, she grew sick and tired of being whisk away from her world. Bashing the heads of these summoners did help somehow to relieve her stress but it wasn’t enough. So she became stronger in hope nobody was strong enough to summon her. She trained in various extremely brutal techniques that all demons went through such as outsmarting the enemies, fighting stronger opponents, and doing various jobs for employers such has hunting. She got stronger though the many years until she got summon again when she was out hunting for a really big bounty.

The princess ,after taking leadership at age 12, got sick and tired of being targets of assassinations. So at age 13, the princess decided to invoke a forbidden summon ritual to call forth a powerful demon to wipe out her enemies.
Being whisked away again would make Carmen be royally angry. This was almost kidnapping to her. Thinking it was like any other stupid beings in the past, Carmen tried to bargain the princess soul but the princess refuses since she wasn’t planning to die anytime soon. So in anger partly because Carmen lost her chance of taking in the big bounty from her demon world, she attacked the princess with her hammer. But her attack was blocked due to the princess’ strongest mage and a fight ensued. Unable to overpower the mage as a result of preparation the princess had done in case of the ritual going out of control, Carmen tired her possession technique on the princess.
Unfortunately the princess’ will was stronger then Carmen, therefore the possession failed. Carmen was defeated when the demonic armlets were placed on her arms forcing her demon powers to be sealed.

Being defeated, Carmen knew that she had no choice but to be in servitude of her new master as since the princess was stronger then her. Carmen became the bodyguard for the princess and does various tasks that no human can survive. Even with her demon powers sealed, she is still quite powerful and it will be only time until the demonic armlets’ ability weakens…
