this is a thread for anyone to freely post any poetry. there are no exclusions. any form of poetry and any type.
feel fee to comment on all the wonderful poems these poets are posting. but please, no bashing. or you can get out right now. and your post will be deleted. i as well, am posting my a few of my poems here too, but they are relatively new and i haven't written in a while. hopefully this forum will be a great way for poets of all ages to throw their emotions out into the world in words. and maybe some poetry might be helpful to some. heart

I was dancing with him
Not even knowing his name
So I smiled when I wrapped my arms around his neck
But I cant believe that I didn’t notice
The way he was looking at me
When my eyes were turned to her
And when I was a little too close
He didn’t seem to mind it
But I just didn’t know
Maybe that there could be someone else
For me without having it to be her
And I wouldn’t have to be the one
To keep everything perfect
Maybe he’ll be the one.
Without the pain of forced muscles,
Maybe he can make me smile.

(i know his name now, and that makes me even more happy.)
