Breeding Rules
Please read these rules before breeding your wyverns. Rules for claiming a breeding slot along with any available bonuses will be posted at the time of the breeding, but these rules are standard.
* Although wyverns may identify with a male or female (or even neuter) pronoun, they are essentially hermaphroditic in nature. No 'gender' restrictions exist.
* Wyverns have a strong aversion to breeding with relatives. If they are related at a grandparent level or closer they won't breed.
* Wyverns cannot breed until they have been out of the shell for at least one week.
* Breeding costs 2k per parent. Breeding also produces one egg per parent. Unless offered as a bonus, wyverns breed in pairs, and only one pair at a time per flight.
* A flight will only be able to keep one egg per pairing. If you own both parents, you can keep one egg and find another owner for the second.
* If you wish to request a bonus for a breeding, both wyverns in the partnership will have to use a bonus to gain the special effect.
* A wyvern is not limited in how many times it can breed, but after it lays an egg it will have to sit out on the following breeding period.
