i'm not sure how many colourists i (and the future manager) will be hiring; it depends on who
applies and how many pets we feel like we want to churn out a month. colourists
are required to have a similar quality as the shop's graphics and already made pets.

the pay has NOT BEEN SET yet. however, expect something along the lines of
100% for flatsales/breedings/customs, 75% auctions, and even split in raffles.

so without further ado, the requirements:

there isn't a set list of pets-per-month as of yet, but you can expect that it
will be around 2-3 growing pets per month, along with any extra requirements
(breedings, events, etc).
you are required to be able to open PSDs with folders. a lot of the shading
is dependent on folders, and i will not provide non-folder versions of the PSDs.
the lineart looks much better coloured than in plain black -- i will be looking out
to see if you're manipulating the templates to the best of your abilities! ;3
you are required to upload BOTH the PSD and the .PNG of every pet you
create to sell/give away. you are also required to upload all stages of growing
pets BEFORE you sell them. these two requirements are for the benefits of breeding
and to make sure growths are kept timely, even if you are not there to do them yourself.
you are required to have either AIM or MSN for communication.
it would be very helpful if you could do your own certing.
being a colourist also means being active in the thread! <3
note: you are not required to edit, but you may show editing samples if you wish.

how to apply:

download the PSD for the adult male.
COLOUR SOME FISH. <3
fill out the application form.

Discordancy

i've got a name!
suggested name: Koikan or Akoikan
meaning/reason: Taken from the origins of coelacanth: the modern Latin coelacanthus for which the fish are named and the parts of that word, Greek koilos and akantha. I think it sounds like something the fish could coin to name themselves.
