Since the creation of Gaia a sacred place has existed, known only to a chosen few.

But that was a long time ago…

Many years have passed and the Sanctum has become less vivid and the visitors
less frequent, until it had completely slipped away from the memory of all mortals.

Even the tree of life which grows in the center of the Sanctum began to wither
and die and the birth of a seedling became a rare event. Having a vision that the
world of Gaia was nearing the end; the tree of life summoned Voren and Enfaya
and gave to them each a task. Speaking to Voren, the tree gave him the task of
traveling Gaia, taking the few remaining seedlings and distributing them to only
Gaians with the purest hearts. Voren accepted the task and then the tree remained
silent for what seemed an eternity.

When it spoke again its words were faint, impossible to hear by the untrained mortal.
Yet, there was one who knew the tree had spoken, clearer than a cloudless sky.
The words to her were much more than whispers, Enfaya listened as they danced
around her. A new beginning for a life forgotten, the tree had formed an eternal
bond. Enfaya gave her every essence to protect this tree which time forgot.

With this act a spark of light emerges…

Though the name of this Grove is lost with the forgotten memories, it shall now be
known as the Sanctum of Enfaya.

Sanctum of Enfaya has a unique storyline, which gives visitors a glimpse into the
story of a magical world, and the lives of the two main characters Voren and Enfaya.
Through the development of your own characters, you can choose to fight for their
cause, or join the opposing faction and battle against them. As the shop ages, so
will its story, as we plan to develop the world with story arcs, maps, and illustrated
comic strips, which will all be influenced by your participation.

Containing seven different semi custom stages Sanctum of Enfaya allows visitors
a chance to experience the growth of two life forms, first a small tree and then a tree
guardian appears to protect the tiny tree as it continues to grow. Depending on the
decisions the player makes, the guardian may join one of two factions with unique
developments along both paths…

Stage One : Seedling________________________________________________

A tiny seed is easy to obtain but much less easy to care for. Love and Luck
are crucial for this fragile seedling stage, if you wish to see it grow keep a
close eye on it! And although it seems like an inanimate object there is life
inside and it will immediately begin to feel your presence and intensions.
Requirements for Growth: 5 RP sessions, Life quest, and Lots of Luck!

Stage Two : Spark.________________________________________________

A bright spark of light flickers around the sapling as it begins to summon a
guardian. Your influence on this little tree is already becoming clear as you
notice the color of the spark. Faint whispers can be heard if you listen hard
enough, now you have two lives to care for. You will need to meet with
Voren and choose a suitable summoning item and fully call this Guardian.
Requirements for Growth: 5 RP sessions, 1 Item quest of your choice

Stage Three : Sapling.________________________________________________

The seed has sprouted and a tiny sapling is in need of protection, the item
you previously selected will summon a guardian and then become a source
of power which the guardian will use the remainder of its life. But for just
a little longer the Sapling will rely a your care and choices to thrive.
Requirements for Growth: 10 RP sessions, 1 Sapling quest of your choice

Stage Four : Spirit__________________________________________________

Finally the brilliant spark has transformed into a small faceless figure and
while it seems a bit odd, it feels more like a blurry picture that has yet to
come into focus. Although the spirit is now able to protect the tree it is still
young and will look to you for guidance and support.
Requirements for Growth: 15 RP sessions, 1 Spirit quest of your choice

Stage Five : Sprite._________________________________________________

The figure begins to take its final form and finally a face comes into view.
After forming a strong bond and personality it’s time to focus on training.
As this guardian learns to protect its tree your full support will be needed
in order to develop its skills and reach full strength.
Requirements for Growth: 20 RP sessions, 2 Sprite quests of your choice

Here’s a bit more information about the rest of the content that we plan to have
for this shop. Not including the already detailed out storyline and stages, read
the previous posts for that information. The image above is a concept sketch
of Enfaya, the first Guardian of the Sanctum.

Obtaining a Guardian______________________________________________

In order to obtain a guardian you start with a seedling and attempt to raise a tree.
Seeds will be available through the standard methods, Flat Sale, Raffle, Auction
and occasional contest.

Seedlings will be fairly easy to obtain but there will be no guarantee that it will
sprout, along with a light requirement of role play or participation there will
also be a weekly chance for seedling sprouting. In order to participate you must
already have completed the role play/activity requirements.

We have not yet determined if seeds will actually die and if so what lifespan the
seedling will have until it is no longer able to sprout. But depending on this we
will most likely limit the number of seedlings each patron can have at one time.

On occasion it might be determined that the balance between factions is uneven,
and in this case a tree will be available in Spark form with its alignment already
determined.

Customs or limited edition Guardians might be available down the road as well
with special events or auctions.

Breeding________________________________________________________

This will be another method for obtaining seeds.

Sanctum of Enfaya allows breeding between a couple of any gender , however
breeding is only open to patrons with a Sentient or Elder. We will detail this
process further as the shop progresses but we plan to make breeding a fairly
long process, and more seedlings will be produced if you spend more time on
either role playing or collecting items.

This is not set in stone yet but there will most likely be a limit of 2 guardians
per player, so we will allow the parents to each have one seedling, and the rest
will go up for sale. Anywhere from 1 to 5 seedlings can be created during the
breeding process.

Factions________________________________________________________

As mentioned in the Story Post above we plan to have two different factions,
and many of the events will rely on participation from both sides, so we will
try to keep a balance between the amount of guardians in each faction.

The two factions will be the basis for ongoing story development that should
hopefully give people plenty of fuel for role playing. Through role playing in
the early stages you will be choose to support either the Sun or Moon faction,
and since this will also determine things like color scheme, and skills, it will
be very difficult to change factions once the guardian is formed.

We also plan to have a weekly contest between factions, winning faction for
that week is awarded with bonuses and a variety of things that we haven‘t
yet decided on. Winners will be determined by overall activeness and highest
amount of accumulated winnings from events/battles.

Battle System.___________________________________________________

Along with the faction wars, we plan to have a battle system. This will be
primarily for the weekly faction war but it will also be able to work for other
events involving battles against npc monsters to win items and various
rewards. This system will mostly be based on your guardians skills, which
will be determined through roll play. To make things fair and more random,
dice rolls will also be incorporated during the battles.

We also plan to introduce companion pets that will be able to fight alongside
your guardian and aside from being cute will grant them certain bonuses.

Item Shop.______________________________________________________

Open to all, the item shop in Sanctum of Enfaya is run by Voren. There will
be a variety of different wares available, most of which will be upgrades
for your guardians, but visitors without guardians will still be allowed to
purchase items.

Role Play_______________________________________________________

Role play will be required to remain active in Sanctum of Enfaya, it will be
fairly minimal since we want this shop to be accessible to players that don’t
enjoy role play as much. Progression will be much faster through role
playing but there will also be other methods. Pets will never be taken away
but benefits and accumulated points might be removed due to inactivity.
Meaning on your return you would have to start over.

Thread Events.___________________________________________________

We plan to have several types of events and ways for everyone to participate
in the Sanctum. Quoting, Item collection, Free item give aways, on top of
seedling sales and contests. Events posted in the thread will be available for
anyone, though the rewards in most cases will not be useful until you have a
guardian, but there’s no reason you can’t get a head start!

Guild Events_____________________________________________________

We plan to have a guild that will house all of the events that are for owners
only, meaning you will have to be the patron of a guardian in order to participate.
And some will require your guardian to be at a certain stage of life, for example,
Battles can only be fought after you have a Sentient since this is the stage that
they develop fighting skills. Other events would be progression quests. Each
stage will have it’s own set of quests available that you can only do when your
guardian has reached that stage.
