They are original real life plush toys that are very popular amongst youngsters in Asia. Their manufacturers and distributors have produced several different products featuring these cute characters and mascots and are now almost as popular as Hello Kitty itself!

These plush toys are 'personifications' of popular Asian foods like Tofu, Gyoza (dumpling) and hot pot and even the more common dessert foods like ice cream and cake. The most common is the Hannari Tofu by Passport, and you can find more information about these cute things at their website: Here!

Edible Its focuses on recreating these cute soft plushes into graphic counterparts of the original product! All art here is created by and copyright to Syku, 2009, all rights reserved.
