    Basic Event Info

    -Be sure to read everything carefully, as the thread may seem confusing.
    -Most info CAN be picked up if you watch the game, but if you're unsure and do something incorrectly it's your responsibility.
    -ALL ORDERS THAT DO NOT HAVE A SPECIFIC LINK SHOULD BE PLACED HERE.

    -The event will attempt to run as if you were in the Safari in the Pokemon games.
    -Wild Pokemon will "appear" and you must attempt to capture them!
    -If a Pony is "tagged" for a specific trainer, only that trainer may act on it.
    -Any other actions will be ignored as an action, yet you will still lose whichever item you chose to use.


    -In the case of a shop-appearance the FIRST action against a Wild Pokemon claims the Pokemon to continue on- it does not mean they will catch it.
    -Once you do an action, whichever item you used is GONE. Even if you don't catch the Pokemon.
    -This applies to users who attempt an action but are beaten to it, so be quick, and be careful!
    -If you catch a PokePony, you must wait for another Pony to be caught before you can catch another.

    -For every correctly timed action (even if not successful) you receive an action point.
    -Randomly placed actions, and posts without rolls do not earn an action point.
    -Once you get ten action points, a pony in your party will evolve- assuming you meet all requirements for said pony.

    -You may buy as many Safari Balls, food, and stones as you'd like, but use them wisely.
    -You must not EVER edit your action posts for ANY reason.
    -You may not EVER delete ANY posts for ANY reason. If I see or suspect a deleted post I may contact a moderator to confirm as that IS cheating.

    -Bear in mind, this is occasionally an RP event...
    -NPCs will show up randomly throughout the event and interact with players, these will be played by one of the safari staff.
    -NPCs will use a "shout" post style, and a size 14 black font.
    -NPCs will do a number of random things, some good, some bad, some useless and some info-giving.
    -In short, be careful who you talk to as items and even currency may be stolen from you.


    -Details may be updated as needed.

    -"Welcome to the PokePony Safari!"
    -A sheet of paper is placed before you, listing the basic prices of buying admission and extra items.

    -Instead of straight gold to items, you are required to exchange your gold for Safari Currency- which is good for any events, shop keepers you come across in the safari and stays in your name until you use it or give it away.
    -With the exception of admission, all things will be paid for in Safari Currency.

    Using Lures

    -Please read for information on luring out PokePonies.

    -Once you have a lure in your inventory, you may use it at any time during non-RP times.
    -If your lure is successful you may continue on and attempt to catch the Pokemon.

    -As stated, you must roll a single, 10 sided die and roll a 1, 3, 6 or 10 to successfully lure a Pokemon.
    -Once you have confirmed you have lured one, next you must roll 3, 6 sided die.

    -The first die determines the PokePony rarity group.
    --A 1, 2 or 3 results in a Common.
    --A 4 or 5 results in an Uncommon.
    --A 6 results in a Rare.
    -The second die determines the group from which you lured.
    --1 through 6.
    -The second die determines the gender of the pony you lure.
    --Odd for female, even for male. ( UNLESS it is a gender specific Pokemon, IE Chansey. )

    -After your rarity, group and gender have been determined, you must randomize one number for each PokePony in that group.
    -Ex: If there are 9 you randomize 1 - 9.


    -So for example you have a successful Lure.
    -Then you roll 3 D2 and get 4, 5 and 2.
    -There are six PokePonies in the 5th Uncommon Group so you randomize 1 - 6.
    -Randomizing a 2 gets you an attempt to catch a male Sneasel.
    -Once the PokePony you lured is determined you may proceed to attempt to catch it!


    -If you lure a PokePony you don't want!
    -You may chase the Pony away, however the lure you used for it is still taken by the PokePony.

    -"Pony storage is a new system that has been created to make it easier for trainers to move around the park with their Ponies."
    -"While in the park you are able to have up to six Ponies with you at any given time."
    -"When you catch a Pony, if you already have six in your party, the new one will be sent to your storage automatically."

    -"If you are starting the event with over 6 Ponies, you must organize your party and put your non-party Ponies into storage via accessing the computer."
    -"If you would like to make changes to your party, you may do so by accessing the computer."
    -"As this tends to take quite a while, after a party change, you are unable to act until a pony is caught."

    -"Only Ponies in your party can gain experience and evolve."
    -"You may have less than 6 Ponies in your party."
    -"Eggs can not be put into storage."
    -"You may move ponies around freely in your party, without using the computer."

    Trade Your Ponies With Other Players!

    -Any given Pokemon may only be traded up to two times.
    -Once you trade a Pokemon away you may NOT keep the original image/s.
    -If your Pokemon is evolved, it will return to it's basic stage once traded.
    -Please keep in mind there is a service-charge for trading.

    -Inform me of ALL trades, once they are agreed upon.
    -Trading is 0.050¤ on both sides.
    -BOTH PARTNERS OF THE TRADE MUST POST IN THE TRADING BOOK.

    -Taking out a personal ad is 0.010¤ per ad.
    -Personal ad orders are also to be posted in the Trading Book.

    -You do not have to fill out "what you want", unless there are specific Ponies/types/genders you'd like.
    -The ad will stay up forever or until you find a trading partner.
