On a related but separate note, the current staff have agreed that none of us have time to work enough right now and none of us are emotionally capable of rebuilding this shop right now for various gaia and real life reasons (send happy wishes to Sya!) and so the shop is closing. It was a good run, about six years if I'm counting right, and that's pretty impressive for gaia. Sorry to lurkers who had been waiting for the Halloween event or more afterward, I (Nyght) just can't do it anymore, gaia just isn't worth this anymore and after a very long gaia time, I've definitely outgrown it.
9-21-10: Well a whole lot has been happening around here! We've got so many awesome new colorists and old colorists now, yey! Halloween is the next big event and it's going to rock through all of October! Keep your eyes out for games in the thread and there are so many babies popping up right now you'd think it was spring time

6-21-10: LP has taken over, the guild has gotten a nice face lift. All the IC forums are together and OOC forums are too. The certing threads have been moved to the Custom/Breedings/Certing forum now. The shop is still on a small hiatus until sometime next month, there's a grand opening event being planned for sometime next month as well. The flower festival maybe late this year but no worries it will be happening! I hope you look forward to it. New staff are on the way as well as some updated graphics. I hope everyone is looking forward to a new chapter in the Saigh's book. This thread is a place where you can roleplay to get an item for your Saigh, lined and colored by our own Ruhane. The entrance fee is 1k and you are guaranteed a piece of jewelry. The more you rp, the better item you get. And these items will go right on your pet's image, so you can make them all spiffy and special looking!

9-27-09: These four days weekends have done wonders for my catching up! I have almost all growings done. The one that is still over due, I didn't color and I'm working on getting the adult form from DD still, but he will grow as well.
A Dog themed flaffle is going to be on Wednesday at 4 pm CST and will be run by Coffee (since I'll be asleep I hope) so have fun with that guys, and watch for previews. Pretty much all the colorists will be throwing in some Saigh, so it's going to be a big sale!
9-24-09: Hey guys, you may have noticed that Nyght's life is much more crazy than she planned. We weren't supposed to have a lot of homework during my study abroad, so that we could experience the city and everything, but that seems to have been false, since I have loads of it for one particular theater class.... But! This is why I hired more colorists, so that we could still have lots of activity smile A Dog breed themed flaffle is currently in the works and will be run sometime soon I hope but miss Coffee, and my growings etc are happening very slowly and not all that surely, but they will get done, I promise. I'm cheating and reading the plays in English instead of German so that I have more gaia time xD It's not like I really care about any of these classes anyway, I'm going to be a computer science major, so German, Theater and History don't have any importance for me.... Why did I do this study abroad again? xD Anyway, I've caught up with certing so next on my list is those customs that I owe people, and then growings.... Woot!
About purge: the purge only applies to those who have a clan leader or those who have an adoptable (ie a pet they got through the adoptables section, ie one of the Shadowhill clan). If you have one of these, please pm Cut_Me_Coffee with a link to a completed rp that you did within the past month. If you don't send this to her before the end of the month, your character will lose their rank or if it is an adoptable you will LOSE your pet.

9-06-09: We are switching to a purge system for the rp required pets. How it will work: every two months, we'll announce that it's purge time and that all the people with rp required pets need to pm Cut_Me_Coffee the link to their rp that they completed during that two month period.
The first purge will be the last week of September, so make sure to have an rp with at least 10 posts done by then, otherwise you will lose your pet/leadership position (depending on if the pet itself is rp required, or if it's because it's a clan leader).

5-11-09: Hey guys, I put up a new poll. I'm trying to get a read on if you guys would be interested in rl commissions, and then I'll be looking for input as to what you think a fair price would be for the various commissions. With the job market as it is, I'm having trouble finding a job for this summer, and with school I won't get back home until most jobs are taken, so I figured opening rl commissions would be a good way for me to earn money and for you guys who don't have a lot of gaia gold to get some commissions. I'll also probably be a lot more willing to go all out with edits for rl commissions.

10-11-08: Hey guys! There will for sure be a Halloween event (check out the preview on 149). It will an auction, raffle, free raffle and lots of games! Hopefully after the event we will have all the adult lines *crosses fingers* and so I'm really excited to get some custom slots open in November. By the way, all of the event stuff etc will be going towards my quest to get Baby Seal Slippers again. I got them back when they first came out, but they went towards the payment for the lineart, and I miss them, so I'm going to try to get them back smile . Really quite random, but just wanted to keep you guys updated on what's going on.

9-28-08: Soooo, Halloween is coming up (eventually) and I want to know what would be most fun for you guys. Also, I have winter break from Thanksgiving to New Year's, so the Winter Holiday event will rock for sure, however Halloween turns out smile

9-09-08: As anyone hanging around the thread knows, Nyght is starting college tomorrow. I have no idea how busy I'm going to be, I'm willing to put money on the really busy side. Gaia is my destressing tool, so I'm hoping to pop on whenever I have a moment to chill. As soon as I get more of the lineart, I'll be coloring to destress as well. I much prefer coloring. smile Also, as soon as I get the adult lineart, I'm going to be doing more games with adult pets, since then I don't have to worry about growings. 8-24-08: I'm going to be moving all Saighneians to a new photobucket account so that my life is more organized. And from now on I'll be giving the uncerts along with certs, so that you guys have them and don't need to ask specifically.
8-23-08: There has been a discovery! There is a long system of caverns along the base of the western mountains. It is the perfect environment for the Saighneian. They love to make permanent homes in caves, and there are plenty to go around.
