A location, hidden away from the eyes of man. A location where creatures of the forest and lake can commune and live in peace with each other. A location named Acque Lear. Acque Lear is contained by two areas. The first area is a forest, brushy and silent with the aura of greenery. The forest rolls to the bank of a lake, whose cooling waters brush the roots of nearby cat tails. Inhabitants also call either of the areas home. In the lakes lies a creature called the Oasis. These fun-loving and elegant creatures call their lake their one and only home. They might venture out of the water every once in a while, but rare to the occasion. They are also fond of creating trinkets, making them in abundance and giving it out to others of the area. Another creature that inhabits the waters are the Defiant. These bold and brave creatures defend the waters of Acque Lear. With their strong, flat tails and craft of building structures, they are an important part of the survival of those in the lake. There is also an inhabitant who lives both, in the water and out of it. They are known as the Nomads, creatures who swim in the lake, and birth on the land. These creature looks like a jumbled creature. With the bill of bird, they are told to be that who fly. But with the tail of the Defiant, they are placed into that category even though the Defiant reject them. But overall, the were placed into a separate category, called the Nomads, those who travel in and out of the water. The Nomads are social creatures, talking with everyone of the inhabitants. They are also collective creatures, happily accepting all gifts given to them by the Oasis. But there are also more inhabitants. They are rumored to be the guardians of the waters. The creatures are called the Overseers, wardens of the lake. They reassure the stability of the waters, and prevent fights between the three water inhabitants. They are basically the homeostasis of the forest and waters.

Now with every good, there is one to represent them, to shine their existence pure. To the Oasis, there is Aislinn, the Mystic Inspiration of Acque Lear. She is an elegant Oasis, who wears a tiara of Seashells upon her head. She is respected amongst all of the females of the Oasis, and loved by all the children. For the Defiant, there is Aonghus, the Strong Will of Acque Lear. He is considered the retired Warrior of the Defiants. At first glance, he seems assertive. But really, he is just appears that way due to the fact he has been in much battles. To show proof, a scar is placed over one of his eye, this eye also being blind. He still also sports the amour he used to fight with, a beautiful sash is seashells lining his body. Now, even though he is much of a coward, he is the leader of the Nomads. Aods, leader of the Nomads, and also the Frightened Clumsiness of Acque Lear. Because of easily frightening nature, he is usually scowled by Aonghus, always being told he should buck up and act like a leader. Aods wears a seaweed scarf that sits around his neck, and a bracelet of seashells given to him by someone special. But be weary, sometimes you won't ever see his face, that would be that he is hiding it behind his scarf. Now even with the naming the of the leaders of the water inhabitants, who looked over the Earth walkers? The three leaders of the Oasis, Defiants, and Nomads believed there wasn't any, and thought that one of them should take the role.

Nestling secretly into the dam of Aonghus, they spoke their meeting. "I believe I, Aonghus, leader of the bold Defiants, should take the lead of the Overseers. I have enough experience in protecting to take control." spoked Aonghus, his voice bold and proud with his chest puffed up high. "No!" cried Aislinn, staring at Aonghus. "I nominate Aods for the role. He has the ability to stay land and in water. He would be perfect for the role." added Aislinn, and grin sprawled across her face as she eyed Aod. Aod just looked at them both, hiding his face in embarrassment. "Um...Um..What you two decide...I will go along with it..." stuttered Aods with long pauses. He was pessimistic attitude made the argument between Aislinn and Aonghus grew. Finally, Aods couldn't take the argument any more and retorted at them both. "Fine! I will take the role of leader of the Overseers! Just stop the yelling!" Both Aislinn and Aonghus looked at him, stunned at his loud voiced performance. But overall, their flinching stopped as Aislinn chuckled over to him and congratulated him and Aonghus looked away, jealous for he wanted the role of being leader.

The next day, each leader called their groups over, and all three of them chose to stand on a rock, in the middle of the lake. "We have something to tell you!" shouted Aislinn, her voice full of strong glee. "We have chosen a leader, to lead the Wardens of the Waters!" All of the inhabitants looked up, to the words that they longed to hear for a long time. The leader to lead the ones who protect them, how grand! As chatter and splashes erupted from the lake underfoot, a loud shout came from the banks leading to the forest. "No!" cried the voice, and out emerged a Overseer, a young one, but soon to grow up strong like the others. "No! A leader was already chosen! Chosen before you three!" shouted the young Overseer, anger in his tone. The three leaders just looked at the young one, wanting to know what in the world the youth was talking about. Before any speech could follow, a soothing tone called from behind the young Overseer. "Now, young one. You don't need to be so rash..." the voice called, neutral to the state it showed no voice of anger. " I came here introduce myself." Out of the shadows of the forest came a beautiful female Overseer. She had a beautiful flower stuck behind one of her ears, and a even more beautiful coiled Ivy plant growing around her back leg. Aislinn, Aods, Aonghus, and the water inhabitants came to see who was the leader of the Wardens of the Waters. It was she, the beautifully atoned Overseer in front of their eyes. The atmosphere stayed silent, as it was broken by the beautiful voice of the Overseer once more. " Now that I have introduced myself, be best I take my leave..." the female Overseer said as she turned to leave the home of the water inhabitants and leaders. But before she went, Aislinn called out to her. "Please! Tell us your name Leader of the Overseers!" The female Overseer just turned around and remarked, "Aoife." as she returned back to the shadows of the forest. Aislinn just gasped at the remark. "What wrong?" asked Aonghus, eyeing her. Aislinn just turned her eyes to him and replied, "Her name, it means Life. Aoife is...The Life of Acque Lear."

The Oasis are usually playful, elegant creatures. They are known for their unity, although there are some loners. They tend to spend most of their times in 'family' groups. The Oasis enjoy collecting shells and making pretty objects with them (i.e. Tiaras, bracelets, necklaces etc).

Baby to Child: 2 to 3 weeks
Child to Adult: 3 to 4 weeks
Adult to Elder: Can only be attained through RPing

The Nomads are usually very collective. They do like to interact with other creatures, although they can be very shy at first. Nomads enjoy playing in the seaweed, as their legend says that it is lucky for helping them find a mate for life. If you see a Nomads with something made of shells you can be sure they received it from an Oasis.

Overseers are the most elegant creatures of all the land, they have a mysterious feel about them as they are considered to be the Guardians of the Water creatures. Often they can be seen walking to the edge of the water to check on them before returning to their forest. As cubs it is said they spend a lot of time near the water, but as they mature they begin to feel the calling of the forest.

The Defiant are strong and brave creatures who are very defensive about all the creatures around them. Sometimes they can be very territorial especially if they have built a dam near by. Although they enjoy the company of other creatures sometimes most prefer solitude and quiet bathing in the suns rays.

Aislinn - Aislinn is the matriarch of the Oasis. She is the Mystic Inspiration of Acque Lear. Aislinn is very elegant, and wears a tiara of Seashells upon her head and a red cap hangs from her shoulders. She is respected amongst all of the females of the Oasis, and loved by all the children

Aonghus - Once a warrior of the Defiants he is now their leader. Aonghus is considered to be the Strong Will of Acque Lear. A scare above his now blind eye from a battle long ago still shows on this Defiant's face. He can be seen wearing his old armor and a sash of seashells.

Aods - Aods is the cowardly leader of the Nomads. He is the Frightened Clumsiness of Acque Lear. He is constantly being lectured by Aonghus that he needs to buck up and act more like a leader. Aods wears a seaweed scarf that sits around his neck, and a bracelet of seashells given to him by someone special. But be weary, sometimes you won't ever see his face, that would be that he is hiding it behind his scarf

Aoife - Aoife is the female leader of the Overseers and is in charge of the safety and peace of all of Acque Lear. She is very mysterious and only shows herself when she is needed. Aoife is wraped in vines and flowers.

Acque - Acque is the goddess of Acque Lear. She roams the land in the appearance of a human child wrapped in vines. Kind and gentle, Acque loves all of the creatures of the land and water equally.
