04/15/10 +Hello, everyone... After a long long long time of no Gaia, I'm afraid that I come with bad news... and some good-ish news. ;_;
It's hard for me to say this, but... Summer is coming. Yup, summer vacation. However, I will have to subtract the 'vacation' part off of my summer this year, and possibly for 4 more years due to full time jobs that're lining up on me. That means less computer time and less Photoshop-lovin' time. sad I was extremely hopeful that I would have had enough time to pick up the leftover pieces from this shop again sometime soon but I doubt it'd happen now...
I think it'd be for the best if I close up this shop, cancel the trades, and send a personal apology to everyone who have waited for me for so long.
When I've opened this shop, I had tons and tons of free time, maybe a bit too much. Now my free time is reserved mainly for eating and sleeping and breathing. I can't believe almost a year has already passed, but I failed horribly in upkeeping this shop. ;_;
Now for some good-ish news. Because I'm busy, I'm definitely not able to handle a shop by myself. However, I've always wanted to share one with a couple people so that my hiatus-ness doesn't seem too apparent at times. I really want to keep drawing art for you guys. You're all really awesome. But I want to constantly slap my wrists for not being able to draw art as much as I'd want to.
Anyway, case in point. I'm not permanently leaving Gaia. When I come back, I will definitely have a shop shared with another talented artist/s and much better quality art. And I will open less slots next time. Stupid me. What was I smoking last year? XD
More good-ish news... Well... These are reserved for those who have ordered and still are waiting for art, so you will each receive a PM from me in the weekend at the latest.
... God I hope I don't sound like a jerk. OTL I really missed you guys. So much has happened to me this semester and I feel fortunate for the grand opportunities I'm receiving for my future art career at Sheridan.
But still, I missed you guys. ._.
I'll definitely try to keep in touch through art shops and shout out "yo!"s occasionally throughout the summer. aslkdnasklfnaskldsjfnskjd
