First off, Welcome to the 2008 Beta Aquarium Winter Wonderland Event! I hope everyone has a good time here, I really do!

As of right now, this event will consist of two event types (raffle and candy grams) and has both prizes you can win and stuff you can buy (for friends). There may be some additional special stuff as well, you know, when I poke the other staffers and get them involved X3

Raffle: This year we have a SE raffle, with solars and angelics up for grabs in addition to a fully breedable new SE! The more tickets bought, the more prizes available. Further information can be found in the raffle post. The Raffle will start soon and take place in this thread. It will either end on Christmas Eve, or New Year's day (depends on my schedule, but y'all will be will informed, I promise).

Secret Santas: Our lovely beta tradition of giving continues with more Secret Santas this year! I'll will be your lovely gram vendor this year with semi-custom, custom, and random grams for your buying pleasure! Further information can be found in the fifth post. Candy Grams will start going on sale Wenseday December 3rd and will take place (mostly) in this thread. ** Please keep an eye on the Secret Santa post for official status! **

General Rules
- DO NOT steal the art.
- DO NOT flood the thread with bumps. Occasional bumps are fine, but floods are not.
- DO NOT edit your posts if they contain auction bids or flatsale claims. Make a new one.
- DO NOT attempt to use mules to bypass prize limits on certain events.
- DO NOT beg for prizes, betas, items, gold, etc.
- DO NOT attempt to discourage people from participating in events. This includes guilt tripping, discussing funds or lack of funds, whining, harassment, flaming, etc.
- Co-owning prize betas is allowed, but please keep the discussions in PMs and IMs.
- DO save your adult/evolved certs once they are delivered. We will not host them indefinitely.
- DO play nice and respect each other.
- Shop Staff (Lt. Gnatty-Bug, ArynLight, RavenFyre, Kishara, Novacracker, Djnn, and Amirynth) word is law. OBEY THEM.
- Shop rules apply to the event and vice versa.
- Please READ ALL of the event front page. If it's "OMG TOO LONG," do it in small doses.
- Breaking or repeatedly pushing the rules will result in you being banned from this event and greylisted in the shop.
- All times currently listed are in Central Standard Time unless otherwise stated. Feel free to use the clock labeled "Central" here to keep track.

Prize Rules
- Raffle: One prize per winner, unless prizes outnumber participants. Solars and Angelics will be certed as adults; the Grinch will start as an egg and grow through all stages to evolve. All prizes are breedable and will pass traits.
- Secret Santas: You may NOT buy any for yourself, but unlimited customs/semicustoms/randoms for others. You may only place ONE order for ONE beta at a time, this is try spread the love as much as possible (and so our colorists don't die). Secret Santas will be certed as adults.

Here be the Special Edition Winter Raffle! Your grand and starting prize, is the angry and vindictive GRINCH, He Who Stole Christmas! He's a lonely creature who hates all things related to Christmas, especially singing. He's as cuddly as a cactus and as charming as an eel, but we all know somewhere deep down in his green barbed exterior there's a heart of gold waiting to grow three times too large! For the lucky winner, he will start as an egg and grow through all stages, all the way to his presented evolve form! AND, he'll pass on those grumpy lines with those unfortunate enough to breed with him!

Raffle Rules & Info
- BOTTING IS AGAINST GAIA TOS. In case it was in any doubt.
- Tickets are 100g each
- Tickets are unlimited, you may buy as many or as little as you want
- To claim your tickets you MUST post in this thread with You're a mean one, Mister Grinch! # tickets please! in green.
- Please remember to replace that "#" in your post with the number of tickets you're ordering. XD
- YES, you may buy tickets for others. Just specify who and how many they get.
- YES, you may buy tickets with items, but the values will be rounded to the nearest hundred to make ticket counting easier. Please see the accepted items list below.
- All trades will go to the beta mule Beta HQ, as specified in the Event Trades post. Please remember to title your trades with at least the number of tickets.
- 1 beta per winner unless prizes exceed participants; winners will choose prizes in order determined by the drawing.
- All prizes, except the Grinch, will be certed as adults.

Accepted Items
- All donation items/monthly collectible items & letters
- All evolving items (each generation is considered a different item)
- All event items WORTH OVER 5k
- All uncommon/rare items WORTH OVER 5k
- All cash shop items WORTH OVER 5k
- Regular Shop Items are valued at their buy-back price (1/2 their shop price)
- All items (except shop items) are valued at TekTek.org's LOWEST Market Price
- Calculate item worth on your own, don't just send me the item and assume I will check for you

Tickets and Additional Prizes
- Every 250 tickets sold up to 2500 total, 1 solar or angelic beta will be added to the prize pot.
- Every 500 tickets sold after 2500 and up to 10,000 total, 1 solar or angelic beta will be added to the prize pot.
- At 10,000 tickets sold, Max (the Grinch's dog) will be added as a fully breedable SE.
- Every 1000 tickets sold after 10,000 total, 1 solar or angelic beta will be added to the prize pot.
